I'm not sure about all vehicles but you can do this on many Ford vehicles. There's a similar kind of thing you can do with a lot of Honda vehicles too. I know there's more than just those two obviously...pretty neat feature
I looked it up and apparently they're prone to failure. It's a high-pressure one because of the 2.0T engine which is direct injected. When they start to go, the vehicle takes longer to start and it won't hold the proper fuel pressure. It can be hard to detect because you can't tell anything's wrong once it starts.
Yeah I think it is too. From what I've read, I don't think the MDX does this... but I did find some neat "hidden" screens on the nav system! Thanks for the reply!
this was very useful information thanks for sharing. My daughter has a 2006 Ford Fusion I just change the water pump and the throttle body. it runs great except for the ABS light is on.
I tried it on my 2012 Ford Fusion and the reset button didn't do anything no lights popped up across my dash am I doing something wrong all I'm trying to do is get my mileage to show back up on my dash
Have you noticed on "regular" mode, whether or not your fuel economy aka litres per/100 kms updates slowly ? I've noticed it's not as quick as it used to be. Is there a way to keep this on while driving ?
At time 0.30 what is the red light for in the tachometer there at 7000 rpm's ? our light stays on and I just noticed it but it's not in the car's manual .

It's on its 3rd fuel pump but other than that it's been pretty much just fine...we love that car to death

Not this particular one, you have to get the $2,000 Luxury package on the Sport model in order to get ambient interior lighting.
It doesn't work on an 2012 Fusion SE ,, why ?!

so how do u go back? how do u turn that off?
Any idea if you can/how to do this in a Lincoln Aviator? I heard you did it in an 05 F150
Any idea as to how to do that in an '09 Fusion SE? Holding the reset button doesn't do it on mine.
Me to 💔

Do all cars have this feature? Or is it just Fords?

Ringo Gingo I believe that’s for the alarm just letting you know it’s armed.
mercmilan06 ... sorry my friend it can’t be that cause it’s on when I’m driving.
Ringo Gingo afraid I can’t be of much help then, I haven’t had this car for four years now.
mercmilan06 .... No problem my friend, someone may know, but thanks
Are those real gauge needles, or is it all a flat panel display?
I have the 2012 ford fusion. what does "trip A" mean ????
+Michael Vasquez It's one of two trip odometers, Trip A and Trip B.
Mike Vasquez you can see how long ur trip takes u there is 2 a and b
How do you leave it on battery voltage like that?
Tommy TwoGun Test mode stays wherever you leave it so you can drive around on any screen.
@@EricAtMazda So if i want to go back to looking at my trip odo and miles to empty i have to go back to the original mode?
Tommy TwoGun yes you’d have to get out of test mode for that
@@EricAtMazda ok thanks for the replies
