I found a way around the frustrating sharing thing. You have to download photos to your device, then upload them into your new account. That way they're separated from google photos and are uploaded as their own image, and will take up storage in your new account (and the originals can be deleted).
Straight to the point! Thank you so much!! I just have a question: Are the EXIF information and the dates of the images maintained when using either of these methods?
Yes... But the problem was shared via link. Sharing directly to another user works.... But... After deleting years of photos from the source account... Google still saying "space is full". Even deleting the trash bin.
Hi bro i have shared google photos from primary account to new account and it is auto-saved all photos in secondary account. Then can i delete all google photos from my primary account so that storage will be reduced? So it will not affect /delete in the secondary account? Can i delete from 1° account? Bro plz reply fast as much as possible.
I'm using the third method, the storage didn't increase even after the new email backs up all the pictures. But when i try to delete the pictures from my old account, it's not deleted in the new account. So is it safe?
Hello, Thank you for the great video. I just bought a new android phone and would like open my google photos there. But here is 3 important things I would like to do: - Create a new gmail, move the data from my current gmail to the new gmail - Change my plan from the free 15gb plan to a more storage plan - Change the back up settings from Storage Saver to Original Quality My question is what are the order of these steps? considering I don't want to risk losing any data from my old phone. Please help as this is a special complex case.
1. Create a new Gmail account 2. Install and open Google One (where you can purchase additional storage) 3. Open Google Photos (ensure the new account is selected) 4. Change from the storage savor to the original quality 5. Import photos using the third way in the video
@@mks-mobile Thank you for the prompt and thorough response! one more question please, when I transfer my data (photos and videos and google accounts) using Smart Switch for Samsung, Won't that make the photos and videos on the Google Photos duplicate (new phone)? meaning it will back up a copy from the new gallery app and also restore the copy from the Photos app. it is very confusing
I transfered photos from one account to another but if i delete from the first one it get delted... I saved at second account but didn’t work still happened the same... Please sombody help
When I select all photos to save there is no done option, so how do I know it saved. this video is already outdated and its not even 2025 lol technology is a joke

@@noufalabdullatif7371 you can only use smart switch with the same google account
I am on the free plan on the new account 15 GB and I transferred thousands of photos from my old account should I pay for that ?
I think you do
Is information regarding the date and location of the photos maintained?
Yes the photo metadata is transferred.
After saving it to my other account, how do I know it’s been saved because my storage value hasn’t changed even though it says it’s backed up
It takes a few minutes for the storage to be updated. Try disconnecting the other account and see if you still have their photos.
cannot install Drive Upgrader.. any other sources ?
I tried to do it but because the storage is full it does not allow sharing
On my new account I cannot delete photos. I removed the new account from sharing and the photos are all still there? What is going on this app sucks!
Not working after removing partner photos videos delete from both id bro
What if i remove partner after saving all his photos to my account??
Will his photos stay remain in my account or not??
Yes, the photos will be saved in your account.
