What a PIA! Thanks for making this video. They must have redesigned these a little since you purchased yours. I got my aluminum Mobtown skids about half a year ago and everything lined up perfectly. The spacers between the front skid and the frame were welded to the skid so I didn't have to fuss with their positioning (although they are about a quarter inch too short). The cross member for the trans skid used the same hole as the brake line hanger so I did not have that problem either. Mine also has a little removable door to change my oil filter. I do wish I had ponied up the cash for an exhaust reroute, though, because I definitely lost a couple inches of clearance with these skids. Overall, I would buy them again if I had to, but I would have complained for sure if I ran into the same problems as you.
OMG!! What a pain in the ASS that trans skid is! I am hoping by now Mobtown got their manufacturing specs worked out and the holes are included. I would be very upset spending that much money and not only having to drill my own holes when they should be included but also having to re drill another set!!?? Just WoW! Sorry you had to deal with that you kept your cool. I would be saying all kinds of profanities!!
Great video. I have steel skids to put on one of these days. Wasn't the oil filter door an option on your aluminum IFS skid? Also, I think I'm going to reroute the exhaust so the t-case is not so low.

RVG1 on the aluminum it is not an option. Or it wasn't at that time.
How does it ride with lift compared to stock? Also how big lift and wheels and tire aizes did you run?
Jordan Akin The ride is very close to stock. Just a bit more firmness to the ride. Running 33s with a 2 1/2 lift.
Wow what a shitty kit for $1000. Thanks for the video, will stay away for sure.
