Polarizer Problems: Review and Examples

This physics video tutorial provides short review of polarization of light. It explains how to calculate the intensity of light that passes through two or three polarizing filters. Malus law describes the relationship between the intensity of unpolarized light that enters a filter and that leaves a filter. Whenever unpolarized light enters a filter and becomes polarized, the intensity is reduced by a factor of 1/2. This video contains 3 example problems.
