He was on his early 40s. He was 50 when he passed 8 years later.
I was at that concert, it was at Madison Square Garden in nyc the night before 9/11. MJ was 43 years old then.
Its crazy how two oppositez became besties 💕 Michael and Chris Tucker, I love their friendship💯

love Chris Tucker very funny man and a loyal and true friend to Michael - side note there was a little bit of a story behind this show involving N Sync who came on and duetted with the jacksons - it was planned but N Sync wanted Michael to appear on something of theres he wasnt able to sing something to do with this show but he made a brief cameo performance - dancing!! as always wonderful :) Michael Jackson feat. Fun fact that night he stayed up late talking to his mother on the phone so he overslept the next day and didn’t make it to a meeting. The meeting was on one of the upper floors of one of the twin towers and the date was 911. Somebody was watching over him that morning.
