Thanks for the recommendation! I've tried reading manga on my kindle paper white a few times but sometimes the kanji characters are too small to really make out or at least really difficult to read. I'm glad to see there are e-readers out there with a big enough screen since buying manga in e-book format seems to be the cheapest and easiest way to get untranslated manga that I've found.

Hi Willow ~ I think the universe read my mind because this is the exact review I have been looking for! Thank you for sharing, friend! 😊
I have been wanting to read more manga and light novels but scrolling on my phone strains my eyes and gives me a headache. I love that you mentioned keeping your phone on warm toned all the time because I’m the same. I feel less crazy hahaha. I also reduce white point (but not all the way or else you will constantly deal with screen glare) and turn off motion as much as possible in settings.
    Thanks again for sharing! 🙂

I appreciate this vid as it helped me in my search, but I ended up finding what I think is an even better device, the boox Nova air. It has about the same screen size however I prefer the Nova air not having that giant bar on the side, and most importantly it runs Android, so you can get tachiyomi, which is the best and easiest way to read manga. I was really tempted to get the color version for comics as well but seeing videos I found out that the color layer destroys the contrast, cripling the manga experience just for mediocre colors(the colors are rendered at a lower resolution than the black and white and just don't look the best) I find that color content looks fantastic on an oled screen, the colors really pop, the main reason I don't read manga on my phone is just the eye strain but it's not really an issue with color anyways. Anyways sorry for the rant thanks for the vid

I wanted to get a color device but they're much more expensive, the black and white images look fuzzier, and the color is at a much lower resolution than the black and white, so basically you're sacrificing picture quality and cost to get color that doesn't look that good. Unless you primarily use your e-readers for webtoons or comics, it's probably worth just getting a black and white device untill the tech improves
