Thank you for your business and kind words! In that dust with stock tires are difficult conditions. Kinda most any bike not a full on dirt bike that is 270 lbs. we appreciate you.
What size risers do you have? Did you have to do anything to the cables? I just put the order in for the Cogent rear suspension. I can’t wait. I have happy trail engine guards, so I’m not going to be able to use the remote adjuster.
That thing will never work good in that silt/sand. Need more wheelspeed for that - t7/890 etc. Jeep won't cut it. Cogent is amazing and make a klr rideable at a whole new level.
@@MrCheaterpipe So wrong... soooo soooo wrong. YOu need wheelspeed in sand dude. YOu can't get it from a KLR. Look at my channel. I'm a very experienced rider. I'm not BS'n you dude.

I'm just using the standard ones from RM ATV. Don't remember how high they were but they weren't the ATV ones
I have the same bike and I am 300lbs and so far I have been getting over 50mpg. The best I got was 58mpg.
I'm carrying more weight than that with no issues

Klr is perfectly capable in sand yes the extra hp would help but not necessary
Just needs a set of proper knobby tires
