ABOUT OUR CHANNEL
Our channel is tailored to cater to the interests of campers, caravaners, four-wheel drive (4WD) enthusiasts, adventure seekers, and those embarking on the epic journey of exploring Australia. Over the next 12 months, we'll be gearing up for off-grid caravanning across Australia and preparing for full-time travel. We're eagerly anticipating our Big Lap of Australia, the ultimate road trip adventure. While we prepare, we'll be embarking on some camping trips in our Jeep Gladiator with our camper trailer setup before transitioning to our Lifestyle Reconn R2 SE Hyper Camper. When we're not camping, you'll find us out four-wheel driving (4WDing), hiking, and exploring the vast wonders of the great outdoors.
Stay tuned as we bring you reviews of the best overlanding camping gear, along with invaluable overlanding tips and tricks. We're still in the process of setting up with overlanding essentials and will be sharing our experiences with you along the way.
We hope to bring you some reviews on the best overlanding camping gear along with overlanding tips and tricks. We are still getting set up with overlanding essentials and will share our experiences with you.
A Random Story.
We love our overlanding camping and enjoy nothing more than off-grid adventure and wilderness exploration. Americans may say RV travel and New Zealanders perhaps say backcountry camping but you will need off-road vehicle and perhaps watch some camping gear reviews and campsite setup tips to help with your caravan set up. We are turning our Jeep Gladiator into a fantastic rig with our overland vehicle build. We need to watch our towing weights for our full time travel Lap of Australia. We will be heading off to some remote locations of Australia so we can capture some amazing landscape, scenic views, Australian wildlife and nature photography and videography. We have a gear addiction with our Cannon cameras and DJI drone. Beyond our love for off-grid adventures, we thrive on day trips away from the hustle and bustle of the city, advocating for eco-tourism and sustainable travel practices. If you're traversing Australia or caravanning around the continent, passionate about overlanding, off-road camping, and enamoured with travel photography and videography, this video is a must-watch. Hopefully this towing mirror review assists you with your full time travel, lap around Australia, overlanding camping trip in a Jeep Gladiator.

@@filthyoffroadadventures don’t forget exhaust video!
@Adventurethewrightway good point thanks.
Love you Ute it’s a beast.
Haha so true. We love Sarge so much too. Glad you enjoyed the video. Lots more Sarge content coming soon.
Love Sarge he is a beast.
You know it 👌😁
Great video. Nicely set up rig.
Hey guys. Thanks for the nice reply, yes we love it and can’t wait to be on the road fulltime in him.
Bloody loved this. So much thought put into this build down to the small quality of life features.
Opened my eyes to a few ideas for myself when I bite the bullet. I’ve actually just booked in for a test drive locally on a 2022 model after watching your videos.
Gives me a realistic perspective on these cars which I haven’t seen clearly before.
Only recently stumbled across your video 2 years ago and seems you’ve taken sarge a long way since then. Looks absolutely mint.
Cheers mate!
Thanks mate really appreciate your kind words and glade to have you watching. Glad we have helped you out.
Good luck with the test drive hope you love it. Make sure you check back and let us know what you decide.
Matt and Leisa.
Awesome guys ! Sarge is a unit 🙌 getting close now 😊
He is a beast and we love him. In fact we love him that much we have to sacrifice van size so we can keep him 😂. Hope you both are well.
Great Review of your Jeep Gladiator set up
Thanks. We love him he is amazing and we are going to go to some incredible places together.
@@filthyoffroadadventurescan’t wait to see where you go
We have so many plans just need the time 😁
@@filthyoffroadadventuresgot to make the time right!
100%.
Great video mate, enjoyed it!
Thanks Matt glad you enjoyed it.
Love❤ keeping it simple and functional
Yup keen to keep it super capable on the trails too. Glad you enjoyed it.
Nice to see another Glad down under. I understand Jeeps have a bad reputation there, but as Dan Grec has proven, they are very capable and trail worthy in Australia. I've had mine for two years and have taken it all over the Southwestern US and Baja California Mexico. Very thoughtful build. I'm going to order those mudflaps. Makes great sense. Do you have to disconnect the trailer to get your bikes out?
Hi thanks for watching. I am so jealous of where you have wheeled with your Gladiator we would love to find a way to do an overlanding trip in the States.
No can leave the trailer attached and have full access to bikes and anything on the slide out tray.
Do you tow or are you set up for camping from the Gladiator?
Great video. Love the mods you've done
Cheers mate! We are very happy with them too. Thanks for watching.
Hi Matt, one question what diameter tires have you fitted? I’ve been through passed episodes and can’t. Anything. Cheers ps love the build very simple and functional.
@MichaelShakespeare-u4f Hi Michael thanks for watching. We run 295/70R17. Would love to go 35’s but as we will be touring and towing think our current size makes more sense. Below is the video of our first off road experience with the new tyres.

@@filthyoffroadadventures thanks Matt, I would also love to put 35 on but with towing it won’t work without changing diff ratio. Cheers
Yeah agree 100%. Good luck with the build.
Finished .... 🤣🤣🤣 .... Liar. It's never finished!
😂🤣 Ok it has not had the Hemi conversion yet 😂
If you own a 4wd... It's never ever finished 😊
😂 come on give me this one. 🤣
