Wow, what a Beautiful dress 👏👏👏👏👏. I don’t agree with you on the “ just ok”. Please don’t sell yourself short, you are a great seamstress. The fabric is just Gorgeous, and the trim was the icing on the cake. Congratulations and thank you for sharing it with us.😊😊😊😊🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💕💕💕💕💕
Hello! Your dress is so gorgeous! You did a great job with the loops too, no failures at all with this dress or any of your sewing. You sew beautifully! Take care, GigiW
Beautiful work. I agree, delete the back zipper. The cuffs do look better a similar width to the waist. Your print placement is perfect, including the use of the plain fabric. Kudos to you!
Oh my this dress is MORE than "ok" give yourself a huge pat on the back...this dress is GORGEOUS and i don't think its to "loud" at all. Very Zimmermanesque just like that Vogue pattern. That trim really sets it off. I know once you put the final touches on it was be STUNNING. Again beautiful dress. Oh and i agree, no need for front and back to be open, that is A LOT 😂
That is a beautiful dress! I love everything about it!! The trim you selected is perfect and I totally agree with limiting the application to the waistband. All your finishes are spot on. Congratulations on a beautiful make!!
This dress is beautiful. You made a good call in regards to the cuffs. I agree about the zipper and buttons. Don’t see the need for both. Think that’s a pattern I will be picking up😊
Hello Karon, I don't think you button loops are a "failure". They look very nice to me. Why do you think they included a zipper in the back? I agree with you, it should be one or the other. And, that would make the assembly a great deal easier too. You do lovely work.
Sheila, thank you. They don't look like loops🙂 I am not sure why the dress was designed with both the back and front opening, but one is enough 🙂 Thanks for watching.
Hi Karon. Chalisa Give you a shout out today. And said you were the one who inspired her to sew slow and steady, versus frantically sewing! Great review!
Hello Zelda, that's awesome! I am happy my snail pace method of sewing has inspired others to create beautiful pieces. I appreciate the kindness. Thank you!!!
Hello Karen I stumbled on your video and instantly fell in love with your dress! As I love in Australia I had to order and pay shipping but I don’t care! I am soooo excited.
Rachelle, I am so excited for you. I am appreciative of your time taken to watch but more excited for your purchase and the gorgeous dress you will be making 😃
Karon, this dress is just beautiful! I was starting to question the need for two openings as well. I’d skip the zipper all together. I think your loops turned out just fine, we are our own worst critics!
Hey Donna, yes, two openings are a bit much, but I guess it's just another design feature that can be omitted or changed. I appreciate your kindness. Thank you for watching. Happy sewing.
Great job on the dress. Trim width is perfect complimentLooks very high end. The loops won’t be as obvious as you think once you put the buttons on. Do you have a video on how you do French seams on the armhole? Seems like that would be difficult. Especially to do it as neatly as you do. Great job!
Hello Carolyn, I appreciate your feedback and hope that the buttons will disguise the 'loops' as you suggested. Yes, I have a video on the channel showing how I use French seams to finish the armscye/armhole. Happy sewing 🙂
Exactly why I was googling this pattern... I didn't understand why it had two openings. Weird. Yep, would definitely ditch the zipper. Thanks so much for the review. Super!
I swear, you could wear all you makes inside out, and they are just as beautiful as the outside.
Hello Kathy, I have actuay my my shirt on the wrong side in error due to that too😀
Thank you for sharing your kind feedback.
That fabric is gorgeous, and I think the trim is very special. The finished product looks very expensive and unique. You do a great job, as usual…

I'm glad I could help! Totally agree. Thanks for watching and providing your feedback.
Do you think this pattern would be easy to do a full bust adjustment on? I’ve been in love with this pattern but haven’t bought it yet.
I believe there are some tutorials on full bust adjustment without darts but I am not sure. This pattern has gathers at the shoulders.
Karen, where did you purchase your decorative band from?
Marjorie, I purchased it on Etsy.
You are an excellent seamstress. I commend you for your determination to achieve perfection. However, your garments look runway ready to me.
You are very kind, and I appreciate your encouraging feedback. Thanks for watching.
