The "stranger " girl made such a face when her friend had her first noisy bite....
I thought she’s gonna ask the reason after😂
🤣🤣🤣
2 months of Japanese classes and self study and I’m glad to say I understood 90% of the video 😭 Thank you for the videos and please keep making them!
@@ottoma9263watch vids read alot
“Kore kudasai” and pointing sounds like the easiest thing omg
これ をください** (kore o kudasai**)
Kore o kudasai, is that
the "o" makes it polite. or so I'm told
@@tylergreathouse7002 さん、This "o" is spelled を、which is a particle to mark the object i.e. kore(this), of the transitive verb(verbs that need direct object) i.e. kudasai (please give me). This particle could be omitted as PinkFurryHat demonstrated. Now the polite "o" you mentioned you have learned is spelled as お
which is prefixed to some nouns e.g. o-kane(おかねmoney), adjectives e.g.o-kirei(おきれいbeautiful) or verbs, e.g. o-hairi kudasai(おはいりください Please enter.) Hope it helps.
@@tylergreathouse7002 that's a different o, as told by the comment above me
The looks in this video 😂 The side-eye Haruka gave Nguyen when she dipped her sushi in the shoyu rice-down was fantastic. Also Nguyen's face when Haruka slurped her noodles. Well-written script- good work, IUJ!
when you stay up till 10 remembering this for a test haha

Altought limited to when eating noodles, slurping and the noise related thereto are not considered band tables manners in japan. In fact, slurping is welcomed as it amplifies the flavours through your nose. So enjoy

can i ask for the script?
The script is in the description!
what did the waitress said at the start. she said "welcome" - what is welcome in japanese?
@@Kuchisake99 i found out recently but thanks for the reply.
Just making sure, at the beer part did she say "*sore* kara beeru o futatsu onegaishimasu?"
Yes, she did
Yes. She said "sorekara biiru o futatsu onegaishimasu".
The script is available here. www.iuj.ac.jp/language/japaness_videoclips_en.html
That's possible. I recognize this kind of discussions too good since I ate a kind of mammal with 4 paws while in the store they said it was chicken.
I don't want to make anyone who is studying Japanese despair but I will tell you the truth
Affirmation in Japanese is not only "はい"
“せやで” “そやで” “おん” “そや” “そうやで” “ん”
All of these mean yes.
The same in English
❤
Amazing

I'm sure they're gonna be enemy in the future. That's how hero and villian start

what did the waitress say when she said "Please wait as I get your order?"
Thanks for the inquiry.
"shooshoo omachikudasaimase." is the phrase.
shooshoo: a little while, omachikudasaimase= mattekudasai+politeness with honorifics

Why is everything written in only Romanji? I see no Japanese characters. :(
Karage to tempura onegaishimasu
Sensei Are you in Sri Lanka today? I saw someone like you today ( date 2024/03/10)
to this day when kanji is a nightmare.
Toriniku meaning was chicken
But it also means in kanji just bird meat weird
It's not weird, it's normal
3:08 Sound like the man is saying "kudasaRE" くだされ instead of "kudasai" like the text on the screen shows. Am I correct?
Thanks for the inquiry. Regarding "Kudasai" at the time point you mentioned, the pronunciation/phonetic value and the spelling match.
"Kudasare", which you claim you have perceived, would sound quite different from what's pronounced then.
Asking your Japanese sensei or native speaker friend to read both "kudasai" and "kudasare" would solve the problem.
Best regards,
🇯🇵💗🇲🇨👋👋👋😂
This is funny
haha yayaya
sore desu ne thats right it is?
All the faux pas 😬

Eating Nigiri with chopsticks? :(
in japanese culture slurping is actually rude, when you slurp, it means that you think the food is not good and you want to get it done with fast. moaning while eating is seen as a good thing
Why no Japanese subtitles …
