WHat do you mean metal present in the tires? Is it removed after processing? Metals are a neurotoxin and I don't feel comfortable using for my kids play area if so.

Hi Mady, thank you for your question. Once our rubber mulch is cut up into small pieces, it goes through a three-tiered waterfall magnet to remove the metal, as shown in the video. This process is certified by IPEMA so we ensure that our rubber mulch is safe for kids to play on.

you should read about the chemicals and heavy metals in tires.. not from the metal they're extracting, but the rubber itself
