Back in the good days when summers existed and you could safely drive your 2wd tractor ina field without fear of getting stuck, great video, love the old fords, bit like my own 7610
I love that outfit, and what scenery. There's nothing like the sight and sound of a forager in the sun. Thanks for the splash of colour on a winter's day!
I remember as a teenager we would help this man who owned a farm next to ours cut silage, (corn and sorghum ) and put it in a trench in the ground . At days end my skin felt like leather from all the juice that was dried on my body. thanks for bringing back the memories. Good video. the equipment is a lot different then what we had.
WOW Alan, could watch these guys all day, just love their setup, they really care for their machinery. Love to know how much grass they pick per annum, well over 100 acres i'd say. Think you said before its a few farmers who join together to cut the silage
Nice Alan,. Good few tractors. One of the farms down the valley from one I stay on in Cumbria has a trailed Jaguar, heard it and went looking for it but couldn't find it.
Well, this lot is one family with the exception of the Ford, whose driver (and restorer) is a neighbour and friend. But they do a lot of sharing and this farm is "uncle's" where all the rest take their kit and go up the hill for his silage.
hi alan been watching ur videos for years, working in doors away from the land u brighten up my day, thank u, a quick question how many acres should an outfit like that harvest in a normal day?
That 6810 looks to be in near mint condition, not easy being near the sea because like all fords they do like a drop of rust from what we see around here. 5*
Nice equipment, nice video but... Why Oh Why!? do you drive the trailer on the inside of the harvester, in the UK. You are driving ON the crop and the Trailer driver has no knowledge of where the harvester driver may put the thing. Yes he can make a good guess but leaving yourselves wide open for trouble sticking in the pickup reel. Both NI and Rep of Ire. drive at the other side. no such slowing to a crawl by the trailer with harvester turning into it on a 90 bend. Here harvester drives at his prefered speed and with the trailer on the outside it is easy to adjust speed to match and you are going round the harvester.
Niall, have a think! The chute is designed to go either way, and in most countries the driver has the freedom to go up and down and change over every time! any anyway, it isn't my equipment - I only operate the camera. But thank for writing in.

Thanks very much - I do like a red tractor on a dull day, and in the sun they can be quite spectacular when clean!
Thanks very much. Though this was 2012 - a wet year but a silage season well chosen!
great video alan, gets me all excited for the silage season
Absolutely brilliant!
Thanks!!
Thanks very much.
Over filling those trailers, must be a long draw to silo.
Class jag 60?My uncle had a jag 40, not big output but easy to drive and very handy.
Thanks a lot!
Lovely video Alan.
Indeed a nice variation of tractors.
Thanks Hendrik. Yes, they look good, don't they?
Nice Alan,. Good few tractors. One of the farms down the valley from one I stay on in Cumbria has a trailed Jaguar, heard it and went looking for it but couldn't find it.
Thanks Tim. Saw one near Kirkby Stephen the other but it had broken and been left in the field :(
Thanks Brian - it is indeed a beaut!
Thanks James - I agree, specially this one which runs like a sewing machine!
Thank you, Olof.
Thanks David.
That Case is only 60hp and makes the point that there is still a use for smaller tractors. My old 135 was 42hp - nearly as much!
Good bit of raking .. no lumps good even flow for the 75 👌
Thanks very much.
Yes, and kept in very good nick, too.
Yes, they look after their kit on that farm.
To be honest, I don't know. I suspect 50 acres to be well within its capability and in summer maybe more.
Very good video Alan and traktors

Another great video
+bachandefi - Thanks very much.
Only problem I have with the Case is that there's not enough of them!
great line up of tractors :)
