Hi Harry, Is it ok to do most of your easy/ aerobic runs on a treadmill and then just train your hamstrings more? What do you think of treadmill running? It’s very convenient but I guess it’s easier and you don’t use as much balance and feet muscles. Cheers
A heart rate monitor is not needed. Recommendations of 60% or 90% heart rate, regarding what? What is taken for 100%? This is the max heart rate that a trained subject can achieve. Why is there no +/- spread? Cardiorespiratory load should be dosed according to the schedule: medium intensity - we can talk, but we cannot sing, high intensity - we cannot speak. This will be 60% or 90%.
