I like to toss some dried lavender in the sugar water while it’s heating up. Get it to just bubbling and let it cool before straining the lavender out. Makes the lemonade pink too. The whole 1cupwater/sugar is a liiiiittle too sweet for me. Might use half and save the other half in the fridge.

No need to boil the sugar. Lemons are naturally acidic and water can dissolve sugar. Just leave it for 30 minutes or an hour in the fridge
