You forgot #6 which is your family is not working as a team or something along those lines. My family does all these things, not because it come naturally but because they understand it’s a team effort.
#4 is similar to something I learned in a course called Priority Management. They called it One Touch, and they applied it to things like the mail ( pick it up at the door and deal with it right away); laundry ( from dryer to drawers/closet right away). Their principle was to only interact with items once.
I inherited this design: our washer and dryer are in our closet next to our bathroom. It is literally the easiest configuration for saving steps! and it is very One Touch! As we head to the shower we sort our clothes into whites/darks/colors 3-part bin. Later, I grab a load put it in, come back and dry it. As I pull each item out of the dryer one at a time, I hang it up or fold it and put it in a drawer in the closet. I hang everything I can, except underwear/socks, and shorts which I fold down the center to lay flat in their own drawer. It is just me and my husband now, so that simplifies things a lot!
I have added all these habits over the years and it has made such a difference in making my home and life feel calm and organized. The other habits I have learned make a big difference is ‘Clean as you go’ - do the dishes as I am making supper, clean the bathroom after my shower, etc. and ‘5 minute rule’ - if it takes less than 5 minutes to do something unpleasant, don’t put it off. Make that phone call, empty the garbage, put away the laundry - then these tasks are not hanging over my head all day.
Great advice! My mom always taught me to clean as you go..but I always have trouble with how long it takes to clean the bathrooms. I'm gonna try that! Ty!
@@porknbeans90 I deep clean only one fixture every 2 weeks. It makes me feel not overwhelmed. Although, I wipe the sink and check the toilet every morning with Windex and a paper towel. I keep the paper towels in a cupboard with Windex for quick spot cleaning. I do the toilet bowl every 3 or 4 days or as needed. I Swiffer dust the floor as needed. In my house, I discovered that the exterior of our toilet gets dusty and almost never soiled. I started Swiffering it and under the tank--was faster than dousing it with cleanser. I guess I basically scan my bathroom for cleanliness every time I am in there. Maybe that's a lot for some, but I want a Bed & Breakfast type of bathroom. It stays very good this way and I don't get sweaty crawling around with cleansers on an hour long clean. Most of my family will wipe the rim of the sink with the towel when drying their hands (the rim is already clean--just wet).
Great advice Marissa! One habit that I’ve developed is scanning a room before I leave it. If there’s something that doesn’t belong there I take it with me and put it away. It only takes a minute (or less) and it keeps more clutter from accumulating. Kind of like your Pringles analogy. 😊
An important part of developing a "putting away instead of down" habit is making it easy to put it away. Many of us have rather difficult and convoluted systems, and/or overstuffed closets and drawers, which make putting it away feel too difficult.
@@danicegewiss862So you're saying a minimalist doesn't brush their hair, doesn't take off a layer of clothing to cool down, doesn't use cutlery, doesn't use a cup, doesn't use tools, is that what you're saying? In life you pick up things, nothing to do with being a minimalist or not
It does really help a lot I've found. When I start doing it (usually after coming home from work), then I do a quick clear up and just start putting away instead of putting down. It makes it easier later 🙌
Great video! I will add one more - each evening make a walk through the apartment and put everything on their proper place. It's a game changer to see non-visual clutter home in the morning!
YES - as Kallie from But First Coffee says that when you take care of cleaning/putting away items when you're finished using them (like washing the dishes), "Tomorrow You will thank Today You." Do yourself a favor and do it now instead of piling it up for the next day.🤟
I always air out the bed and set the duvet outside in the sun for awhile before making the bed. In Europe we used to see bedding hanging outside the windows most mornings!
Great tips! One I of mine learned from a cousin. She hated doing dishes (she lived by herself). After putting them off one too many times, she timed herself while doing them and learned it took about 14 minutes. She then realized the hours she had spent procrastinating such a short task. I now do this and have added something else. If while driving I have to stop at a red light, I time the wait. It is rarely more than a half a minute, and never more than a minute. It keeps things in perspective! Keep these videos coming!
One thing I started to do a few years ago, I only buy things when the old one breaks/wears out and then I get rid of the old one. It's a simple way of keeping the clutter down before it starts.
My favorite tip I’ve heard is just take it one thing at a time. Don’t try to do it all at once or you will burn yourself and never finish anything but every little project done is a little win.
In michigan it feels like I should have winter, spring and summer shoes and coats readily available by the entry way. We have very minimal space too. Yesterday was 80, today its pouring rain and tomorrow we are expecting snow. It's a struggle 😅
In Israel too although not quite as extreme. Yesterday it was 94 during the day, went down to 60 in the evening and today it's about 70 at 10:30 AM and sunny. If I were going out for the day, I have no idea what I'd wear. Our sun is pretty intense and I sweat easily but if I didn't return until after sundown, I could be underdressed.
@Meira Lettieri I feel for you! We have some cold wet mornings but will get into the high 80's or 90's later in the day and by night it will have dropped significantly!
I love Amazon wish list. I feel like I'm shopping without buying anything until I've thought about it more. I can get a lot of little things done while procrastinating the tougher things!
There are levels of minimalism. I'm a minimalist but don't have an almost empty house. I decluttered most of my things, but still have plenty left. My counters have almost nothing on them, my coffee table has almost nothing as well. I have 5 pair of jeans and 5 tshirts. Essentially I cut my stuff down to what I use the most.
I love the way you present the ideas. I'm very much inspired by you. Your presentation is so natural, and I can feel it is from the bottom of your heart. It's really, really hard to let things go, but you are doing such a great job. Before, I used to be attracted to a rich life. But after watching your videos, I'm very happy and content with what I have. I'm learning to live happily with this middle-class life. Thank you so much.❤
I do NOT agree with making your bed in the morning when you get up...making the bed when you get up in the morning DEFINITELY does NOT (scientifically) improve HYGIENE!..IF you are a "stay home mum" and can make it after the bed has had a FEW HOURS to air! Then yes, you can make your bed later in the morning... I "unmake" my bed every morning!... your bed needs to air to keep bed mite populations down (they don'tlike sunlight or cold dry air). So I fluff and pull back my bedding in a tidy way so it airs while I am out at work all day... then I pull it up before I go to shower and get ready for bed. I teach my kids to do this to because my oldest has a dust and bed mite allergy. The other points are great! and so true!
Thank you so much for this. Putting things back where they go and making my bed is always essential. My room does feel slightly cluttered because it's the only space in the house that I have. If I had a home of my own it would look totally empty. I do need a better system for it. As for the rest of the home, I hardly use it but I'm responsible for a ton of the cleaning. It's difficult to accomplish and keep tidy.
I loved this video so much! My husband and I watched it together because we've been having a clutter problem now that we're parents (which we didn't have before). Thank you for all the great tips! I think after years of minimalism I have kind of fallen into the trap of impulse buying again, because I've had a bit of trouble adjusting to working-mom life and I think that is a big thing factor me and our home. It kind of hurt a little to admit, but it helped tremendously, thank you so much!
It also helps me to declutter on the evening before garbage is picked up and throw everything in the can right away. Neither will I keep the stuff too long around me and change my mind again nor will I climb in the garbage can to save it. 😎 I have to trick me all the time. 😁
I just wanted to say that you look especially beautiful in this video. Your eyebrows rock! I really enjoy your content too. You have been very helpful to me in my efforts to declutter my home.
I make my bed everyday after I air out the sheets, I do the same exact steps for my entryway even washing my hands, I don't impulse shop, I put everything away when I am done. I do procrastinate but not about decluttering.
In your last video, I was interested that you use only a quilt on your bed. I tried it myself, and I like it so much! I can wrap it around me like a cocoon, and it's a cinch to make it in the morning!
The entry is so key. From mail to hats n gloves n keys. The further in it has to go to be "away" the greater chance I'll end up on the back of a chair, lost in a bedroom, piled up on a table or moved under the sofa by a pet
Love you sooooo much, but I have to disagree with fourth one. Not putting things away. I set priorities instead. Yup, milk needs to go in the refridge and ice cream in the freezer. But other stuff can wait a bit (an hour or 5). What I do instead is put them away before going to bed.
Sure! In that case, re-homing trays and bins are handy - I sometimes use a laundry basket to go through the house and get stuff back to where it needs to be. Life happens 😎
I keep my kitchen counter clean and clear because that is where I fold the laundry. It's a good height for me. If I take it upstairs to the bedroom without folding it, it usually sits in the basket. I don't have an "entry way". I come in through a sliding glass door directly into the dining room and kitchen. I have a basket for my sunglasses and keys, but there is no where to put coats and sweaters. I did get a small shoe bench, with shelf for my shoes. I've gotten better at walking to the closet and hanging up my jacket rather than putting it on the back of the dining room chair.
I have been telling people the same thing for years about making your bed equaling setting your day. It is nice to hear another person state this too. I am definitely NOT a messy person....Not sure I ever have been either. I like what you said about the entry way! We take off our shoes before entering our apartment (they sit at the top of our stairway). I always tell my husband to please put his shoes in a line. He puts them in weird places there haha. He also puts things down instead of putting them away. I learned this is something ADHD people go through as well. . which my husband has. I therefore tell him to please put things away instead of down when he comes home from work. I say, "Your wallet and keys don't go on the kitchen table, they go on your desk or nightstand so you don't ask me later where you put things." He sometimes puts things down just. . .randomly and forgets where he put them later. I know where everything is because I have made habits to put things away right away. Anyway, he likes that I remind him of things he was doing and put aside for a moment. I remind him of the things he was up to. I smiled at the idea of how your husband found you eating your Pringles. haha.
You and everyone who has a youtube channel lol. Everyone says to make the bed, and it's just frustrating and sad for me. I leave for work early and my husband is still asleep. So no bed-making in the morning. He's very sick & suffers from fatigue, so he "crashes" and has to lie down several times a day. On weekends I can make the bed after he gets up, but it doesn't last for very long. I think all the other advice in this video is great, but the (everybody's number one rule!!) bed-making advice is something I'm so tired of hearing. Not Marissa's fault at all. I'm in a unique and probably rare situation. And I adore Marissa 😊
@@JamieM470Good for you for respecting your sick husband! We don’t make our bed in the morning here, because we sweat too much at night and need to air it out. One thing I did find that makes the bed less messy, is I got rid of top sheets. We put a quilt cover instead, or duvet cover. So, just one layer to fold up or down.😊
I am the WORST at putting things down and not putting them away. I'm really trying to work on this one. It's a really hard habit for me to have ALL the time.
I need to say one thing that has absolutely nothing to do with habits, but.... I really love the quilt on your bed! Looks so beautiful and also cozy. :) For prograstinating I just can say... here I am. .///. It's always a struggle to do the first step. After that first step I can do anything I need to do, but it really is hard work to come close to doing this first step. .///.
Thank you! My grandmother made that quilt for me before she passed away so I could still have it at my wedding 5 years after she passed. 🥹 It’s so special to me. I’m a serial procrastinator and I AGREE - the first step is the hardest but I know once I take it the momentum builds 💪
@@AtoZenLife A wonderful piece to remember her and also have something to help with a tidy and nice bed. I really undersand that it is special to you and the quilt also shows that. +feel hugged+
Things tend to accumulate on my dining table because I actually rarely use it to eat. But it's never too bad. Usually it's glass and plastic containers that I want to be fully dry before I put them away. Don't want moisture in my cupboards. I also like to soak my dishes overnight and then clean them the next day. Sure, I probably could clean them right after dinner but usually I prefer to relax. Also, "es soll sich ja auch lohnen", so I'd rather wait until there are "enough" dishes to clean. Maybe those are "messy" habits but I already decluttered so many things that it never gets overwhelming.
I have developed some of these habits but it is nice to see you reinforcing them as living in a small space with little storage is a lot different that living a space with places for everything. I have a space by my couch where I prepare meals so every time I wash the cutting board it goes there instead of being put away. One more step as I often use the cutting board for breakfast or dinner so nice to just have it there ready to go. I have seen people with lots of space living in a mess mostly either because they were lazy or had some reason to accumulate things or simply didn't prepare meals at home and relied on other ways of getting meals. Personally, I prefer making my own food but it does require lots of planning and preparing and cleaning up afterwards. To each his own. I don't think clutter is so much the problem as it is organizing the things you use the most. Putting away a mug you use every day doesn't make me happy, it is two more steps. Making the bed doesn't have to take long, some days I just make sure it is tidy and flat but airing it out and letting it breath is a great idea too especially if you have pets that are messy. And having that extra flat area to put things on throughout the day means you aren't getting frustrated with lack of space is great. I think you can live minimally but still have clutter if you do little things throughout the week but once a week thoroughly clean like clear dishes from the sink, sanitize surfaces and to the bathroom and shower, sweep floors daily then do a sanitize mop once per week, otherwise all you are doing is cleaning and putting things away. Having lots of space and storage is wonderful, but with more people less space more mess and having places set up for work and meals is essential so you aren't constantly looking for things but they are where they are supposed to be. Also with tools, putting them away into a tool box or bag after you are done with them instead of having several places you have to look. And every so often organizing those places and removing things that aren't being used is a good practice. Thanks for your help, great suggestions!
Thank you so much for all your work! I am a minimalist too and you helped me become one ♥️ Sending you much love from Croatia! Ich danke dir vielmals für all deine Mühe!
Thanks to this video, I "now" realize the importance of making MY bed as it sets the tone for the day lays the foundation and also a flat surface on my Made Bed an help me organize other things like folding laundry... how COOOOOLLLL is that , thank you soooooo much!
The first thing I do after standing up from my bed, is to turn round and make the bed. This includes adding cushions & a throw. From there I start getting ready for the day. I do this everyday without fail. It’s ingrained into me.
I refuse to do my bed everyday, I think its pointless, and I've always thought so. My mom has been trying to make it a habit of mine for 25 years, she had to let it go. But I agree about a neat and tidy entryway.
You mentioned you would place a link to your impulse shopping video, not sure if you meant to put the link in your description, but I just see lots of links to new clothing items which I’m not sure are related to this video? when you pointed up on the video you just pointing to the wall behind you.

Some of us do not care to change our messy habits. I do some tidying up now and again, but I am just fine with my flat the way it is. Still, I have adopted certain small habits that help me a lot, though mostly my messiness is okay by me.
I developed bursitis in my hip and knee a couple of months ago. Because of the medical system where I live, I'm having to wait for PT. The pain was excruciating. The first month, I was in Italy but the second one, I'm back home. My house is so dirty. I'm alone and almost 77. I'm not in the US so I don't drive. I don't have clutter but I can't stand the barely acceptable level of dirt that I am unable to deal with. The pain has gotten better but it's still hard to stand and do dishes. I don't know how people can live like this their whole lives.
Pringle’s I have never eaten then I but would imagine the tube would add to the cost of the product and also create more waste when finished. Are they that good to eat to earn the cost and waste ?
CONFESSION... yes i did do an IMPULSE buy today on Amazon because YOU inspired me to have my entryway organized and have a place for my SHOES by the doorway so I ordered a shoe RACK for myself and one for my son. I feel it will IMPROVE our lives by having a PLACE for our shoes when we come IN the house, so thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu you are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!
Declutter or remove more things until it looks like you want it but is still functional. That might mean rehoming things to another area. Also, consider putting a shelf or half table mounted on the wall, getting things off the floor is a way to make it look less cluttered.
I am new to your channel. I am late 50s and my house has always been cluttered. I know this about myself #1 I LOVE beautiful things! I know I couldn't live like you because of this. I dont care if they are dusty LOL #2 is I have so many artistic hobbies and unfortunately they take up space! Many musical instruments, painting, needlework, quilting you name it! #3 Is I am a terrible procrastinator when it comes to cleaning cauce I hate doing it even though I know it has to be done sometime! If I would just quit procrastinating I know how much better things could be but I'm just naughty anyway!! For me I know it just boils down to laziness! Not saying this in a hurtful way to myself just as a fact!! I am at that age it doesn't matter if people say things to me that in my younger years might of hurt my feelings because I know what is a fact and what isn't and I can accept the truth. But I will admit I haven't got to the point where I am comfortable just letting people in no matter what my house looks like LOL I hope I dont get to that point in my life or things might really get to looking bad! 😅 anyway I have had a difficult 4 years losing allot of people in my life and many changes and I have let go of some of my hobbies for a while so I can get caught up around the house cause I know with my age more changes are coming and I cant just quickly clean up the house in a few days like I used to! When I die I dont want to leave a mess for my kids to clean up like I had to for my folks! Really enjoy your channel! My sensitive personality is wired allot like yours and I know it is a genetic component from my folks! But I do think there are positives to being sensitive and that is kindness to people and animals! We can sense immediately before anyone else if someone is getting sick etc... well I have rattled on long enough I should be cleaning 😅😅😅
If I see dirt, or trash, or misplaced item and I have time and possibility to fix it, I fix it. If I finished doing something, all things I've used go home. Or a trash can. When I consider buying or briinging something home, I try to decide, how I'll maintain that, where and how do I use/store that and can I multi-use or repurpose it. Every time I sit and watch something, I think "Is there a kind of work I can do while watching?" and most of the time it is. Folding socks, scrubbing or wiping something, some sewing jobs, small repair... P.S. I don't make my bed. I don't have any bed cover and that bed is ugly either way, so why bother, no one sees it.
For procrastinators, the full hand principle is helpful. Never leave an area empty handed. Yeah, you can wait to put away the teacup, throw out the tissues and put your shoes away. No sweat. Just do it when you get up to get a snack, change out your dvd stack, go to the bathroom or whatever...

I used to be a hoarder so I remember what it was like. That’s one of the biggest benefits of minimalism IMHO - even the biggest messes are easy to clean up!
lol these are literally things that messy people find VERY difficult to follow through on. Yes, it's a habit, but also people are wired differently and for some it's wayy harder than others.
Argh everyone is always with making the bed. Why?????!!!!! I don't know why this is such a big thing. Noone goes into my bedroom and I'm going to mess it up when I get into bed that night anyway. I'll never understand the point of it.

Great video! I will add one more - each evening make a walk through the apartment and put everything on their proper place. It's a game changer to see non-visual clutter home in the morning!
Yes!!! I 'put the house to bed' every night as well ❤
YES - as Kallie from But First Coffee says that when you take care of cleaning/putting away items when you're finished using them (like washing the dishes), "Tomorrow You will thank Today You." Do yourself a favor and do it now instead of piling it up for the next day.🤟
I always air out the bed and set the duvet outside in the sun for awhile before making the bed. In Europe we used to see bedding hanging outside the windows most mornings!
Yep. I the US, your homeowner's association would come after you. I some places you can't even have laundry lines in the back yard.
Yes, classic one-in-one-out rule 👏
My favorite tip I’ve heard is just take it one thing at a time. Don’t try to do it all at once or you will burn yourself and never finish anything but every little project done is a little win.
This helped me a lot!
@@claraclay4519 I’m glad
In michigan it feels like I should have winter, spring and summer shoes and coats readily available by the entry way. We have very minimal space too. Yesterday was 80, today its pouring rain and tomorrow we are expecting snow. It's a struggle 😅
🥲
I live in Northern Minnesota and we are having that same crazy weather.
I'm sure I couldn't live as a minimalist, but I have de-cluttered and these tips are right on target.
I absolutely love you but I rarely make my bed and I’m not going to feel guilty about it girl!😂😂😂😂😂
😂
I love the part where your husband walks in while you're shooting the pic of you with the Pringles! Too funny!
Thank you so much.❤
Well said
I do NOT agree with making your bed in the morning when you get up...making the bed when you get up in the morning DEFINITELY does NOT (scientifically) improve HYGIENE!..IF you are a "stay home mum" and can make it after the bed has had a FEW HOURS to air!
Yup 100%
Put items away, because clutter attracts clutter.
I just wanted to say that you look especially beautiful in this video. Your eyebrows rock! I really enjoy your content too. You have been very helpful to me in my efforts to declutter my home.
Sour cream and onion Pringles are definitely the best!
I like calling it messy habits instead of messy people.
Glad you like it 🙌
The entry is so key.
Is that a vintage quilt? So nice for spring.
Sounds like you’ve really got a system that works for you and your home ❤️
Hallo, agree. I am currently doing a "Hauruck"-Aktion and even then seeing how fast everything can be done - you just have to do it right away
Could I ask where you got the shelf that you have in your entryway? I love it!
It’s the IKEA ELVARLI unit that’s usually used for closets. My husband came up with that! 👏
@@AtoZenLife that's so smart! Thank you so much!
@@JamieM470 I think that makes it a special situation though in your husband's case.
It takes a bit of practice but you CAN learn it 💪
You're my favorite tidy up RUclipsr. Glad you have more videos!❤Love your quality videos!
Aw, thanks so much 🤗
How do you keep the shoe drawer that clean?
When you think about all the dirt you gather outside!
I need to say one thing that has absolutely nothing to do with habits, but.... I really love the quilt on your bed! Looks so beautiful and also cozy. :)
For prograstinating I just can say... here I am.
+feel hugged+
hahah Messy habits video - 00:48 first scenes are a gorgeous minimalist bedroom! For shame!- but we love you! hahahahah
😂🙏
Second habit is the same in our house also
Things tend to accumulate on my dining table because I actually rarely use it to eat.
What is the “this video” you mention to check out at about 8:30? I am looking and just see the word “This”!
Some people have this problem and I don’t know why! It’s this video: ruclips.net/video/w_mzNsa4cCM/видео.html
Thank you so much for all your work! I am a minimalist too and you helped me become one ♥️
Sending you much love from Croatia!
Ich danke dir vielmals für all deine Mühe!
Thanks so much and happy to have you here 🙌
Really simple n easy suggestion.
Hi there, sorry and not sure what went wrong - here is the video: ✋ HOW TO STOP IMPULSE BUYING » 10 Tips to Reduce Emotional Spending | minimalism + saving money

I like your entry room and the furniture there. Which brand is it or where did you get it?
I am always enjoying your Videos. The decluttering process started influenced by your videos. Favorit hack: stop buying, reduce the amount of incoming stuff.
I unsubscribed from a lot of emails so that helps with impulse buys as well. Don't fall for the "limited time only" or "sale" key words that ads use.
Aaah, #2. Such a good idea...but convincing the rest of the household is another matter!
Thank you ❤ this is what I need
❤️🙏
I brought in stuff! Now I’m a mess. “ Storing” lol.
Ooo, Breath of the Wild! I'm playing through that right now too!
My boys love it! 😎
Alternate option to ‘making the bed’: throwing the blanket in a basket. Bam, breathing bed with no smoothing or tucking etc
I love having a made bed but my 2 year old always jumps on it or gets under the covers after making it!😅
Enjoy! They are only young for such a short time. Take videos of the fun. You will remember fondly, the bed jumping later.
Awww, my lil guys used to do this…I started teaching them how to make it afterwards. It’s not perfect, but it’s fun!
Great info, thank you.❤
Some of us do not care to change our messy habits.
I love both the idea of and the looks of the wooden bowl for the keys! ❤ Where can I buy one?
I like the entry idea, but, I would have to have the clothing items behind closed doors. 🌻
Hi! Can you please share where you purchased that wooden bed...thanks
Hi Iman! I’m sorry but the company went out of business. 😞 Otherwise I would definitely recommend it to you ❤️
I have been trying to get my wife on board with some lifestyle changes. she does not want to. She checked every box in this video.
Pringle’s I have never eaten then I but would imagine the tube would add to the cost of the product and also create more waste when finished. Are they that good to eat to earn the cost and waste ?
Genius thumbnail story! Xx
Thank you ☺️🙏
CONFESSION... yes i did do an IMPULSE buy today on Amazon because YOU inspired me to have my entryway organized and have a place for my SHOES by the doorway so I ordered a shoe RACK for myself and one for my son. I feel it will IMPROVE our lives by having a PLACE for our shoes when we come IN the house, so thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu you are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope it helps you get organized 🙏❤️
Fun thumbnail for sure.
Thank you so much for this!
Simple way, easy solution ❤
Our entryway is extremly small. I minimized it a lot and it still looks extremly cluttered. I don't know what to do about it
Declutter or remove more things until it looks like you want it but is still functional. That might mean rehoming things to another area. Also, consider putting a shelf or half table mounted on the wall, getting things off the floor is a way to make it look less cluttered.
Do you have wall space? I have a wooden key with hooks on it and also a three pocket vertical file attached to the wall.
Can you recommend a book about Feng Shui and the Home?
Hi! I haven’t read any books, but saw a good video the other day by Julie Khuu here on RUclips - maybe check out her channel 👍
Clear Your Clutter With Feng Shui is a classic!
Hi I am really looking into decluttering and being more minimalist I would like to know how can I do this with a toddler 2.5… I feel like she wouldn’t have enough toys or activities. Maybe she will get bored ?? Any videos on this or thoughts b
Question: is it an impulse buy if you’ve had it in your cart for over a month and impulsively purchase it as soon as you get paid?
Same her3 in Sweden.. not shoes inside the house 👌
entry tip bang on
Right on!♥

This is so true 👏

honestly though I'd procrastinate to play Zelda BOTW
😂 Nice to see a gamer in the comments!
OMG your bed looks like a hunk of concrete!
Instead of putting stuff down, I put it away.😊
Great habit 👏
05/22/23 = oh my god thank you sooooooo much for TEACHING me that I am NOT a messy PERSON... I just have MESSY HABITS that I need to get rid of.. wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, EYE opening thank you, thank you, thank you!!! for real thank you.
Thank you 😏😉👍💪

Bises back! ❤️
Great video ❤
Great
I read that making your bed is not healthy concerning mites
Who else finds funny when these super organized and minimalist people create pretend mess because they still need to make their videos?😂
I used to be a hoarder so I remember what it was like. That’s one of the biggest benefits of minimalism IMHO - even the biggest messes are easy to clean up!
Loved this video Marissa, excellent points. Great filming, and I love the thumbnail - so funny that your husband walked in on you then! 🤣
Hahahaha, right? He’s has a habit of walking through or into my videos accidentally - which makes them even better. 🤣
lol these are literally things that messy people find VERY difficult to follow through on.

What if you enter the house carrying six bags of groceries, your coffee cup, the mail, etc.?
You attend to the groceries first and then go back to deal with everything else.
Agree with ☝️
