@Truthmatters4u, absolutely-thank God for His mercy! 🙌 1 John 1:9 is such a beautiful promise, reminding us of His faithfulness to forgive and cleanse us when we confess. It’s a lifeline of grace that keeps us going. Thank you for your encouragement, and let’s keep walking in His mercy and truth every day. Blessings, my friend! 🙏
I hard a very Hard life. I am 80 now and God Showed me exactly Why! I disobeyed His Commandments and suffered. But I know How to fix it Now! Thank You 🙏 Jesus 😊❤
Discontentment! This is a heart set the Lord is revealing and rooting out of me. I’ve spent a life time pursuing self satisfaction…. It’s poison and false. True satisfaction only comes from dwelling with the Lord and living in Him. The Lord is renewing my mind and my heart so that I desire Him more than anything else. Psalm 103:3-6 NLT He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. [4] He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. [5] He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle's! [6] The LORD gives righteousness and justice to all who are treated unfairly. Vince, you’re awesome. Keep bringing the Word. God bless you brother.
Joe, what an awesome testimony! 🙌 God’s work in rooting out discontentment and filling you with His truth is so inspiring. Psalm 103 is such a powerful reminder of His forgiveness, healing, and satisfaction. Praying for continued renewal in Him, brother. God bless you!
Absolutely, Ted. It’s a trap we all fall into sometimes, isn’t it? Justifying our actions instead of humbly admitting our need for grace. But that’s where God’s mercy steps in to meet us. 🙏
Lust - those images and videos of pretty women on social media I scroll past 9 out of 10 times. It’s that one time I need to get past. The Holy Spirit is at work in me. I just need to listen AND obey 10 out of 10.
@coachmoore495, I feel you, brother. That battle is real, but you’re on the right track with the Spirit at work in you. 💪 Let Him be your strength in that one moment-it’s where the real victory is won. Praying you hit that 10/10.
That's interesting. In the third chapter in the Bible that is just what Adam attempted to do. The woman that You gave me she gave it to me. Not only the woman was guilty but it was God who was guilty for giving him Eve in the first place.
Great insight, Ted! Adam’s response really does show the human tendency to shift blame and justify our actions. Instead of owning his mistake, he pointed fingers-at Eve and even God. Yet, God’s response was to begin the plan of redemption. How amazing is His patience with us?
@TJS82, great point about opening the Bible-spending time in God’s Word is so important! Whether it's a traditional Bible or a Scripture journal, the heart of the matter is engaging deeply with His truth and responding to the truth by being kind and compassionate to believers and unbelievers. Personally, I love using a Scripture journal because it lets me take notes, ask questions, and reflect in real-time. It’s just another way to meditate on the Word and grow closer to Him.
Thank God for his Mercy! 1 John 1:9. Thank you for the good word.

I pray that Gods desires be my desires. Amen! Thank you Pastor Vince.
That's a wonderful prayer!

It's called self justification.

A better idea, why not open your Bible (assuming you have one) and look it up the old-fashioned way?!

Holiday treats and junk food
Holiday treats and junk food-an unbeatable combo! 🍪🎄 Just remember, moderation is key… or at least that’s what I tell myself after the third cookie. 😂
Chewing tobacco!
