This was the period when FGW couldn't quite decide how rancid their next HST livery would be! From privetisation until the last Bluey / purple, they had no less than 7 goes at it, almost one livery per year, until the last but one, 'dynamic lines' effort.
Love to see these kinds of older times on video, nice one :) Too bad at that time I was no more than 2-3, I would've filmed so much of the old stock in action.
How has this vid not got more likes? Absolute great vid showing of all these old locomotives 👍🏻.
Nice video 👍👍👍😎.I've subscribers to your RUclips channel 👍
There was me thinking 58s only ever hauled coal! I’ve taken a screenshot to justify my model.
I'm a train and I approve this video! !! Holy Moly!!!!

it's almost like a valediction for the old Reading station this, as well as CrossCountry loco haulage and Valenta HSTs.

Green and gold was the best FGW livery imo
Brilliant video :-)
+Stuart Simmonds thank you!
What year was this, I'm guessing 2000 or 2001?
Barbie livery came into service 2004ish
It's listed in '02
Can't be 2000 or 2001 because Voyagers were built in 2002
