Ito is so snappy and quick while I-Ching has amazing heavy shots with great balance, a really great game to watch - such a matter of nerves and mental strength in matches like these.
Cheng always seems to play well against Mima. This time she definitely outplayed her for long periods. But, unlike against Ding in Germany, Ito never gave up. A gritty defensive performance - often reverting to the blocker she was pre-2015 - when her attack was frequently misfiring. Not a great performance but, in context, one of her best victories. Well fought.

congratulations for Mima, awesome play. Chen lost her chance, and I'm sure she had it really. Look, Chen move away Ito's FH, took initiative, and Chen was more powerful and speedy in BH play.
Regard to this - Ito was unbelievable smart to change her play in such way where Chen was weaker.
Great play, great players, awesome pleasure to watch TT such level.
The occasional punch blocks with the pips scored quite a bit. And Mima was able to play above her usual level probably. Kudos to her.
I agree. Chen seemed to lose her touch towards the end of the final game allowing Mima to capitalise.

Right, in the second game, Cheng was attacking Ito's left side repeatedly, winning that set with ease. Then Ito adjusted, kept hitting shots to Cheng's right, making it hard for her to attack back at her left side. Ito stuck with it, attacking ferociously, winning the match. Having said that, Cheng is a very fun and easy going girl, one anyone would like to hang around with! I'm more of her fan than Ito.

Still, I content that she should find a method to contain her inner energy and excitement that will allow her to play the same fast game she is playing with less unforced errors. A well researched and proven option is the practice of Transcendental Meditation. That would keep her inner focus silent and steady while improving her reaction speed.

Cheng should have won, but Ito is a fierce, hardworking opponent. Cheng didn't play aggressively enough last two games. And missed some easy (for her) forehands. When she was stable, Ito could not punch through her.

這場比賽可以看出，跟以往不同的是，鄭的技術結構開始偏向男子化了，基本上連續板都在中遠台，這也是她這次一回來就打進決賽的原因。
不知道是不是鄭佳奇教練幫她改的，鄭佳奇以前的技術也不是男子化呀~？

《2020伊藤美誠的目標》
去年底，我曾經寫下2020年伊藤美誠的目標，共計以下12項：
1. 拿下日本Top 12獅王盃女單冠軍(2019.12.21提早辦理)。
2. 一月份全日本天皇盃三冠王。創下日本史上唯一3度3冠王。
3. 三月初亞洲杯女單至少亞軍。
4. 三月底世界錦標團體賽全勝（最多只能輸1場）。
5. 八月東京奧運團體賽至少銀牌（最多只能輸1場）。
6. 八月東京奧運女單銀牌以上（至少銅牌）。
7. 八月東京奧運混雙銅牌以上。
8. 十月女子世界盃女單至少亞軍。
9. 全年公開賽至少打進3次決賽，且至少1次冠軍。
10. 獲得2020年ITTF年度之星獎座(至少被提名為候選人)。
11. 年終總決賽女單亞軍以上(至少4強)。
12. 全年最佳世界排名，至少有一個月擠進第2或第1。

首先，恭喜伊藤美誠獲得2020匈牙利公開賽女單冠軍。
現在，我們來檢視伊藤美誠達成目標的狀況。
第1項：【達成】(拿下日本Top 12獅王盃女單冠軍)
第2項：【功虧一簣】(全日本天皇盃獲得女雙&混雙2冠，女單止步4強)
第9項：【即將達成】(目前達成匈牙利公開賽晉級1次決賽，取得1個冠軍】

P.S.雖然2020匈牙利公開賽奪冠的主要關鍵是中國女隊並未報名參賽，但也是如假包換的金盃。我相信今年剩下的10個公開賽中，伊藤美誠照樣可以在中國女隊參賽的情況下奪冠。

2020.3的Qatar Open伊藤獲得亞軍。
伊藤四月分的排名將會是世界第2。
不但是創下自己史上最佳。
也是1991年起ITTF開始電腦排名以來，日本選手最佳。(唯一世界第2)
1991年以來，女子世界排名第1，全數都是中國選手，從來沒出現過外國(協會)選手。因此，伊藤也算是外國選手史上最佳之一(馮天薇也曾排名第2)。
未來，伊藤有可能世界第一嗎？

不過，現在世界排名第一的陳夢，兩人積分差距太大，至少也需要到明年以後的事！ 2020.3.10

很显然郑怡静已经很清楚伊藤的短板和针对性的打法了，那就是增强正手位的强攻，避免反手相持，之所以输还是在于没有贯彻之前有效的战术，这说明让一个选手坚持虽然有效但自己不那么擅长的技术还是很艰难的，孙颖莎犯轴的时候李隼可以去骂她，但是郑怡静的教练大概没那么凶。顺便说一句，这个角度不错

Yet, ITO kept her cool that is VERY very difficult to do, n Ito kept her composure n MOST of all, Ito did NOT rattle, but I think Ito SHOULD slow down the playing-serving tempo just little bit, JUST 2-3 seconds that SHOULD increase her opponent's pressure n nerve THAT should help Ito's serve. I am sure the rest will be reviewed by her coach going into good-paying prize money at Qatar-Open {the most paying table tennis professional tour! Well done Qatar Table Tennis Orgernizers n Japan, China, Germany SHOULD match or try to exceed Qatar n all aforementioned countries can afford reward deserving professional table tennis players PAY-MORED or payout that is SO-FAR still toooooo-smallllll compared to tennis! Ito plays well, cz there is NO such thing as good luck but maintain "composure NOT being shaken player, because behind games and points, JUST because of points and or games behind. Well done both players, but Ito played her game style NO matter WHAT the score or game behind, job or playing very well done Ito n congratulations indeed! Comment from the USA
