Imagine something like this, but with Bluetooth pairing so that your game controller could turn on your PC just like a console. Even better, imagine if it also had a USB port for controllers with dongles.
Hey sorry I know this is an old video but at 1:21 when you mentioned other header connections, isn’t there only one power header on a motherboard? Would I need a splitter to keep the original power connection on the case and for this remote?
That appears to be a passive "hub", more of a direction changer, so I would think connecting more than one device to it would just confuse the computer - that is if the starter uses the data lines. If it does not, then it should be safe to connect ONE other device to that splitter.
I'd like to see your set up. Planning the a wireless on switch with a RF receiver/transmitter- Sonoff RF Control Hub/ then Alexa. But seems alot of work around.
@@lovenpalilio6504 thinking whether to make a RUclips video on it. Not many seems interested. With my setup I can turn things off on with my phone plus Google home.

Well that hasn't happened just yet and I would assume they would make a 3.0 or 3.2 version
It wouldn't matter because its still a usb 2.0 3.0 3.2 only difference is efficiency a better conection

Just ping your computer ip from your smartphone and it will start. Na need for extra equipment.

Me too. Doesnt turn on just off and reset. I suspect the usb header is not powered on all the time making this thing incompatible.

There may be a setting in the bios/uefi to make usb devices stay on while the pc is shut down. Enable taht and it should work

Nice, but why the keychain? It's not like I'm bringing my remote out of the house where it serves no purpose and can only get lost.
I mean maybe its for a computer at work? Also I always know where my house keys are, but that random fob will get lost easily if not on the keychain
