It reminds me of a killer snowman movie I watched since it aired when I was on that level it's like the game knows ways to distract me like if its haunted first it was the spider when I was little then the snowman and then when I was on the waterfall boss actual water was dripping from my ceiling I was like oi what's wrong with this game it brings only bad luck but I still love it XD

I felt DKC3 had some of the better bosses in the series. Each boss fight felt different from the other and I liked using the animal friends in a couple of them.
Yeah, DKC3 had the bests boss of the series, but all the rest...meh, it's a good game but it doesn't give me the feelz like the DKC2, maybe for the music not composed by Wise, maybe the absence of Dk and Diddy... I can't explain correctly. Btw in the 90's I've played just the Gb version... it's the same but it's more likely the second game

I used to have the SNES version of this game and now I have it on the 3DS. I used to run out of the room while my friend and sister fought some of the bosses, like the giant barrel, in the game because I thought they would cry when they were defeated (like Whispy Woods in the Kirby games) and that would be scary for me to see them cry.

I love how the bosses of DKC3 are just absolute freaks - Belcha and its bloodshot eyes, Bleak's weird guttural moan when he gets hit, whatever Squirt is embedded in the wall behind the waterfall, etc. DKC3 was the most colourful of the three games but it had some underlying weirdness in the enemy designs.
People say dkc2 was better, and maybe it was, but you have to admit, these are some pretty cool bosses (even if all bosses before the "final" confrontation are finished by about 9:38 )

So...I'm not the only one kind of disappointed with the overall boss atmosphere, am I? Don't get me wrong, the boss theme is good enough (I personally prefer Boss Bossonova, but that's not the point), but for as good as people say the bosses are, the feeling during most of them was kind of subdued. Like, it wasn't a big deal that you were fighting them. ESPECIALLY at the end. Where are the celebration animations and the grand "end of the boss fight" theme? It doesn't really feel like you beat a boss and more like you beat a regular level.

I love how the bosses of DKC3 are just absolute freaks - Belcha and its bloodshot eyes, Bleak's weird guttural moan when he gets hit, whatever Squirt is embedded in the wall behind the waterfall, etc. DKC3 was the most colourful of the three games but it had some underlying weirdness in the enemy designs.

That boss is getting nailed
So...I'm not the only one kind of disappointed with the overall boss atmosphere, am I? Don't get me wrong, the boss theme is good enough (I personally prefer Boss Bossonova, but that's not the point), but for as good as people say the bosses are, the feeling during most of them was kind of subdued. Like, it wasn't a big deal that you were fighting them. ESPECIALLY at the end. Where are the celebration animations and the grand "end of the boss fight" theme? It doesn't really feel like you beat a boss and more like you beat a regular level.
