Nice review. I really like this bottle, and I appreciate that Campari let WT put out a reasonably priced bourbon in line with what Jimmy Russell thinks is his sweet sport for whiskey,

I found my bottle for $45 and I was satisfied with that. That cinnamon note that I get, I find it quite enjoyable, sweet and hot. I haven't compared to WT 101 side-by-side, and based on your results, I probably never will. Cheers!

I think it unfairly sours your opinion of 101. I like WT 101 and will always keep it on the shelf, but the comparison was not really fair. Cheers!!!

Apparently this is everywhere but around my area. A solid WTH. Hopefully I'll be able to find it. I'm a big Turkey fan and I have seen that they are going to go with a 8 year release aged 101 coming soon. Nice review. Enjoy!!🥃🥃🥃

The regular 101 always came off hot to me. So, it sounds like it's good and probably a $50 bottle

Sure, but how does it compare to Rare Bread, Kentucky Spirit CN-, or Russel 10 which are in same price ballpark? Also in the range are Old Forester 1910 and 1920.

So if you’re only buying one, I’d put it ahead of RR10, but behind Rare Breed. Haven’t tried the KY Spirit. As far as OF, definitely behind 1920, but we’re not fans of 1910, so that’s an easy one. If you have a collection like we do, then I’d definitely say it has a place on your shelf.
