Watching RUclips guys when young one a little less young is the perfect way to do a video on a bike like this. I enjoy you guys so very much.

When talking about hp numbers, this pertains mostly to the track. My modified 2010 Triumph 675 STR is putting close to 100 hp to the rear wheel and barely weighs 400 lbs gassed up. The handling is effortless and it is scary fast on public roads, difficult to find it's limits. We are so spoiled these days with the fantastic motorcycles available and the new Speed Triple is simply amazing. The prices are not that bad considering the inflation-filled money of today.

Love my speed3 1200. Can't wait for the aftermarket exhausts to be available. I miss the undertail.

@Paul B I'm 6'2" and find it very comfy. Tank doesn't cut into my thighs like most. Stock exhaust is super quiet. The valve doesn't open until 8500 rpm I believe

Yeah love my new 1200 Speed as well, the only thing is an exhaust then it will be perfect. Check out Racefit the first guys I believe with a cat back system.

The "massive weight saving" comes from the new exhaust. IIRC the Arrow 3-into-1 also subtracted around 10 or 12kgs from my 2015 Speed Triple's gross.
TBH I have been considering a custom pipe up under the tail with a little carbon SC Project beer can for my 1050. Probably going to go that route when I get the new wheels I've been threatening to get for 2 years now.
One of the advantages of living in Gauteng, South Africa is I can pop over to the BST factory showroom between clients and buy a set of wheels for like half the price of any online retailer 😜

When we are comparing these fine machines it is not a question of knowing what is the best, because they are so close that the answer has to come from somewhere else. I think that it has to come from identification with the riders taste and personality. I did pop the question and I got a “yes” from the KTM super Duke, and we’ve lived happily since then🥰
    🤣🤣🤣

My #1 complaint is the main display can't show speed, tach, gas range, odo, and engine temp at the same time, like every other normal motorcycle. I can only see one at a time (range, odo, _or_ engine temp). And the ui navigation is horrific -- out, up/down, then back in (and it's slow too). The original '18 765 and 1050 RS user interfaces were fine ... no idea why then went and fvcked it all up.

      Couldn’t agree more!
1050 RS dash was spot on, I think these new ones have been designed by art school students who don’t ride motorcycles 🤷🏻‍♂️
Go back to the old dash Triumph and I’ll buy one 👍
