I just read the book about Brother Lawrence call ed the practice of the presence of God. Brother Lawrence trained himself to be in a constant stateof prayer throughout the day. Very inspiring

I'm not Catholic but I'm enjoying your channel. I've just started having a regular prayer time in the early evening. I suffer from anxiety and it's always bad in the mornings so evening time is easier for me. However I'm thinking of trying to say a rosary in the morning as I find the repetition of it calming.
I recently returned to the Catholic faith and no matter you're denomination I pray the rosary grants you the peach it does for me. The rosary is the most powerful weapon we have in spiritual warfare❤
For me this is how I do ceaseless prayer Morning Offering: O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in union with the holy sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in thanksgiving for your favors, in reparation for my sins, for the intentions of all my relatives and friends, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father. Amen. Rule of St. Pachomius: Usually takes around 30 Minutes (I might put it in the Discord) Whenever I am not doing anything or find myself to be bored, I start the Jesus Prayer again.
I agree 100 percent! great video! & I absolutely love gregorian chant! I usually listen to gregorian chant when I'm writing in my prayer journal ✍🙏🕊 and I want to share a quote from Saint John Vianney on the importance of praying before beginning our day ✍🙏🕊 ...... "We must take great care never to do anything before having said our morning prayers...The devil once declared if He could have the first moment of the day he was sure of all the rest." And Yes! I love praying to the Saints! I have a very special devotion to Saint Padre Pio 🙏 and making intercession for others is a beautiful gift 💒 Like Mary, Our Blessed Mother, we can serve as co-redeemers for Christ and help build up the kingdom of God in our world 🙏🌎🕊
Great tips sister! Surrounded by nature clears up the mind for me too, maybe put on some nature recording as background 'music' when you're not able to get into nature. The phone is a hard one to manage and a source of distraction, I'm using flight mode and mute function, to silence the crazy device lol. Starting the day with our Lord, having a rosary near, the Jesus-prayer throughout the day, etc. are things that help me as well. Btw, the Carmelite saints have great wisdom concerning prayer, I'm hoping you will do a video on it sometime :)
Excellent video! Sacramentals (Miraculous Medal, Scapulars, etc.) are ceaseless prayers as well. Holy/Epiphany Water for example, though not necessarily ceaseless, is a 15-45 minute powerful Blessing said in 5 seconds! How awesome is God - redeeming even Time for us?
God made women in his image for a special reason: Psalm 46:5 "God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns."

Love The way of a pilgrim and the Jesus prayer. Also helpful for me is the prayer of St. Faustina - "Jesus I trust in you" , which is so easy to repeat during the day.
Since we are not nuns and have busy lives, I think we can divide the hour up into different times during the day. Maybe some prayers (esp a quick Morning Offering) in the a.m. and a rosary (or other devotion) after work. Again some prayers at nite, and maybe a quick Jesus prayer at various times during the day. Doesn't have to be a marathon.
I'm not sure why I have always been confused about the idea of offering up pain or inconveniences. Wouldn't we want to only offer the good things in our lives?
I know you don’t, but could you possibly do a video on veiling all the time and not just at mass? I feel called to wear a veil all the time (once I have the money to buy one) and I want to know your thoughts on it. If there are arguments against it or for it. I just feel like if we are in God’s presence always and not just at mass then why do we only veil at mass? I just feel super uncomfortable when I’m out in public without something on my head, even before I was Catholic I’d always have my hood up on my hoodie. Now I feel like that was maybe a message from God. I just want other Catholic’s perspectives on it, especially those close to my own age. (Not that I’d disregard any advice from other age groups)
🙏 Consistently Pray for forgiveness, guidance in a good (positive) direction, and for help against evil. Pray to be saved from hell (whatever that may be). Pray for your friends and your family too, it only takes a minute or so/less at a time to pray. Do it and your life will slowly get better, or maybe quickly. It probably just depends on you and the kind of person you are/have been. Don't wait until its too late and you have to suffer the consequences of built up bad karma from immoral acts/unrepented sins. Maybe together we can help make the world a better place by changing ourselves for the better, and changing things around us for the better. And addressing/thanking the CREATOR, LORD GOD at the beginning and end of your prayers would be a good idea 😊 Or just be my friend if you don't want to say the prayer 😄 I'm trying to help you get right with the LORD🙏 Amen. You should prostrate yourself if you don't want to do spoken prayer, or do both☺ Please worship the LORD GOD and not any idol.

I just discovered Saint Bridget of Sweden. She has amazing revelations - and a one year devotion plus a twelve year devotional. Worth looking into.

For praying for an hour. What do you pray about? I feel like I wouldn't know what to pray about for 1 hour
