I feel like some addition citation is needed for this video. Based off what we saw in RWBY volume 3, it definitely seemed to me that the griffon that swallowed Torchwick died. I mean, Ruby kicked it into the ship, which was promptly followed by an explosion. Granted, we've seen bigger grimm survive explosions in other episodes, like the queen lancer surviving having several crates of dust flung at it, but considering the whole ship started exploding immediately afterwards, and we *never* saw it leave the ship, I think it's safe to say it died. And as for the nuckalavee, why do you think it's a fusion of two different grimm? Is there an additional source that says that somewhere? I assumed that the horse and the imp were always fused like that. It's based off a norse monster of the same name that is also a humanoid torso fused to the back of a horse after all (except the norse monster looks like a flayed version of that combo rather than a black and red monster covered in bone armor like the grimm), and it's not like it's the only multiheaded grimm we've seen. The ziraph from After the Fall and Before the Dawn is described as having three heads, and while all three of those head presumably look the same, I don't see why other multiheaded grimm can't have different types of heads.

@@praetorianrex5571 ok, this is a massive change. I though this was gonna be more related to rwby, but you took a completely new path. I'm sorry, I don't read much fanfictions that change the world so I'not a good person to critique this. My thought on fanfictions are very strict and I like when they follow the rules of the show. I don't really like adding such big changes to the world like adding a completely new things. the show and the fairy tale book explains that the gods made the planet, the god of darkness made the moon and the god of light made the sun. saying there was an entire species on the planet who would be tens of thousands years older than even salem and ozpin they're a bit weird and convoluted, they act sort of like the animals we know but can mutate and actually it's a gene that can be in both animals or humans? There are all sorts of Grimm with different abilities, from basic attacks to some that have magical abilities like casting illusions, possessing, mutating or mentally draining people. I would just make a new kind of grimm, or people that experimented on grimm, or a person with a really crazy semblance. I'm not that much of a fan on fanfiction writers introducing a completely new third version of humanity or animal that has existed longer then anyone has been alive, survived the gods purging the planet twice and nobody knows about them. I can't really judge this, sorry. Maybe you could fo to a fanfiction or OC forum and discuss there. People there have much better experiences with discussing this.
the chill does me think of neo a bit when she took the form of nora ren could fight neo when she took the full form of nora with full i mean that she even made her eyes green insted of pink and brown
If Weiss summons a Grimm with a special ability, can her summoned version use that ability? Like if she summons a sea long thing, can it breathe lightning? That would be great if working with Nora.
i have theorie i have you tell when they showed salem's backstory they said that all the people was dead, then there came grimm so i saying what if the grimm are the people that once lived in the world because they did had magic and was wiped out when the light lord thing. please use this when you can
with the nuckelavee, maybe salem fused them herself, we saw her change the form of grimm, as she gave the gorilla's wings, and (im not sure if it drained or hurt her, i cant remember) but maybe it was too much for her to handle, so she only made one
The black arms that Salem summons could possibly be her semblance. A semblance that is similar to Nico Robin's Bloom-Bloom powers - able to create and dismiss limbs on any surface.
I think they're more Grimm arms, Chucky, I'm pretty sure summoning Grimm should only be possible by either be a Schnee or a major magic user As for a semblence, I'm not sure whether the first generation of humans had semblences at all

I would link it but then when I got back here I would have to search through the mountain of other peoples comments to find yours, and there’s no telling how many more comments would be added to that mountain by the time I got back, and that would tax even my admittedly considerable patience, and that’s even if I remembered your screen name, because being that I have ADHD i am notoriously scatterbrained. @@Sawcybui assuming volume 6-7 is in winter, it's been a full year from the fall of beacon, making it 18-24 months from the start of the series. So volume 8 probably takes place sometime between January and March, so she's 17
Fantastic Grimm and Where to Find Them
Happy Halloween
The thought of Team RWBY and company entering into the Grimm Whale is giving me some serious Gears of War 2 flashbacks from when you get swallowed by a worm capable of sinking cities and have to first kill it, and then cut your way out of it.
Got this video in my recommendation while browsing before going to bed, but I'm definitely not gonna watch this now at 10pm. See you tomorrow!
Yeah, looking at it at 5pm it's not scary at all
keep doing what u love. By the way, there was a theory I saw that cinder was summer's daughter thus ruby's and yang's sister. Just something to let u know about.
Thank this will help with my original character
Glad I could help! 😊
I hope we get to see a t rex Grimm
Probably the “final boss” of the Vacual arc
Great Video!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊
Happy Birthday Ruby!! :D
Anyone else wondering how the Geist took over the suit of armor in the white trailer?
That would be the SDC. Don't know how they did it but they managed to get multiple Geists into it
🎂 Happy Birthday 🎁
The Grimm are creatures born from magic if one is powerful enough or old enough or is specialized for it they can use it. Also it explains why the don't leave bodies behind when the die and why they have strange abilities like the guiest grim.
My favorite Grimm is Salem's silver eyed hound. I love it when enemies that are supposed to be brain dead are actually intelligent
In the Manga version of RWBY the first Nevermore was 100 times bigger then we saw in the show
Link?
@@kaled20001
Unfortunately I don't remember the link to the Manga
But, in an Episode of Death Battle they showed a Panel of the Manga
I think was either in
Weiss Vs Mitsuru
Blake Vs Misaka {Attack on Titan vs RWBY}
Or
Yang vs Tifa
I think my favorite grimm is the Leviathan, cause it's freaking kaiju grimm that's based on godzilla.
The grimm in Vale are much more forest themed; bear, wolf, boar, etc. and are more of uses the strength they have, where ones in other kingdoms tend to have special abilities that make them strong and powerful.
13:52 Is the arma Gigus actually possessed by a Grimm or is it just a theory???
It's multiple Geists
@@jameslennie5203 how do you know?
@@mittenvonscrufflears7233 got it from the wiki. In volume 3 & 4 of the manga it's revealed how the SDC made it they captured multiple Geists and managed to put all of them inside the Arma Gigas
@@jameslennie5203 ah, okay! That's cool
I sorta wish they did more contests like the grimm one. (I know they did an oc character one for volume 3 but I didn't know about it at the time)
I wonder if in Vacuo will they face a creature similar to the sand dragon like in the Mandalorian
I assume that the Tempest and more importantly the Hound are both part of the special category, as well as any other hybrids we may see in the future?
A thought with the grimm (I don’t know if this is confirmed or not or if this was ever stated by anyone else) but if an alpha Grimm grows more bones when they live longer and thinking back to the Grimm W.O.R., where it’s explained more then likely they only feed because they can, can the bone plating be from the corpses of their unfortunate victims.
There’s some fan made Grimm in the rwby fan made visual novel game jpde
Wa Lang = mantis Grimm
Ghamera = tortoise Grimm
Keres = human Grimm
Nyx = Queen/alpha keres
Oppel = like the ravagers but bigger
Giant Grimm spider
Great game not mine but I strongly recommend playing it please
Could I ask you for some input on a creature or two I'm working on for RWBY, please?
Could u do a vid on Grimm evolution mutation and the fact that they suck up aura
I thought the RWBY V4 short the Beringel first appeared in was still in Vale. Can anyone confirm this, or correct me?
It's unknown, but assumed its in anima, as we assume that ruby didn't spend much time in vale
I just checked the RWBY Wiki, it says that the short was in the outskirts of Vale.
HAPPY B DAY RUUBBBBYYYYYY!!!! :)::))
I think the sentinels are actually based of athropleura theyre really big millipededes from the carboniferous period so more prehistoric grimm for atlas
we need a new video of the Grimm of Remnant. deffinetly a couple new ones appeared since last year.
The whale Grimm seems to have gravity dust lodged in it, maybe magic is not enough to keep it afloat?
It's crystals from Salem's Domain in the Land of Darkness. Also Grimm can't use Dust so who knows if they would activate. But maybe they are, who knows.
@@embellem9245 could I ask you for some input on a creature or two I'm working on for RWBY, please?
@@praetorianrex5571I will try to help however I can!
@@embellem9245 nice.
Here they are;
The Verandertier(s) (from tier verander, German for "changed beast"), are creatures (types of animal life to be exact) native to the world of Remnant, being direct and indirect descendants of the planet's original inhabitants (who occupied the planet before the Gods remade it as they please, thinking it was a blank slate). Like the Grimm (but having no relation to), they often pose a threat to to humanity. But UNLIKE the Grimm, which do so for the sake of it and live to do so, Verandertiers attack out of a sense of self preservation, defending territory and young, or otherwise "misbehaving", being neither good nor evil. their unique status as lifeforms not made by the Gods and the unstable, chaotic, and always changing ecosystem the planet used to have, the Verandertiers are capable of "improvised ontogeny", a mutation like metamorphosis that allows an individual animal or other lifeforms to adapt to a variety of situations and to enable rapid evolution. An animal or person becomes one if they have a "V base" in their genetic makeup that then activates by various causes, usually life threatening ones like allergies, toxins, extreme injuries, etc. (More specifically, the improvised ontogeny is how a normal animal actually becomes a Verandertier, and that Verandertiers are "descendants " of Remnants original inhabitants in the sense that the V-base came from a certain lineage of the latter that survived just long enough for the V-base to cross paths with and somehow inherited by precursors to a select few, if any, of each modern species, which is how almost any animal could have a V-base yet Verandertiers are rarely seen). The resulting form is usually superior to its original counterpart in at least a few ways.
As you can tell, a lot about these guys is biological and natural. This is because I am a HUGE fan of bringing creatures to a context like this, justifying why and how beautiful creatures do the things they do. They're also like this to differentiate them from the demonic Grimm, which to me, the huntsmen would be very used to at this point. So something new like the Verandertiers popping out of the blue should provide a couple of interesting and unique challenges for our heroes and villains.
What do you think? Anything specific you like?
@@praetorianrex5571 ok, this is a massive change.
I though this was gonna be more related to rwby, but you took a completely new path.
I'm sorry, I don't read much fanfictions that change the world so I'not a good person to critique this. My thought on fanfictions are very strict and I like when they follow the rules of the show.
I don't really like adding such big changes to the world like adding a completely new things.
the show and the fairy tale book explains that the gods made the planet, the god of darkness made the moon and the god of light made the sun.
saying there was an entire species on the planet who would be tens of thousands years older than even salem and ozpin
they're a bit weird and convoluted, they act sort of like the animals we know but can mutate and actually it's a gene that can be in both animals or humans?
Wait at the beggening of the rwby serois pearha gave jaune her semblence to unlock his but what is jaune has two semblences now because of pearha
Ok i was wrong i forgot that it was aura instead of semblences
If Weiss summons a Grimm with a special ability, can her summoned version use that ability? Like if she summons a sea long thing, can it breathe lightning? That would be great if working with Nora.
Lancers were noted to be in vacuo I believe, from the after the fall novels.
So I've been thinking does the Chill kill it's possessed host?
probably.
i have theorie i have you tell
when they showed salem's backstory they said that all the people was dead, then there came grimm
so i saying what if the grimm are the people that once lived in the world because they did had magic and was wiped out when the light lord thing.
please use this when you can
This is helpful, since I am making a fanfiction
with the nuckelavee, maybe salem fused them herself, we saw her change the form of grimm, as she gave the gorilla's wings, and (im not sure if it drained or hurt her, i cant remember) but maybe it was too much for her to handle, so she only made one
Now for RWBY I'm definitely thinking RT are making any Grimm canon.
I for one would be completely ok if it is the case
Burrows under the sand? Can swallow people whole? Acidic spit?
Krayt Dragon.
The black arms that Salem summons could possibly be her semblance. A semblance that is similar to Nico Robin's Bloom-Bloom powers - able to create and dismiss limbs on any surface.
I think they're more Grimm arms, Chucky, I'm pretty sure summoning Grimm should only be possible by either be a Schnee or a major magic user
As for a semblence, I'm not sure whether the first generation of humans had semblences at all
According to the RWBY wiki they are a species of Grimm known as a “Shadow Hand”. If you so desire I can link the article for more information.
@@codyevett2098
Oh how interesting. I didn't know that - thank you 😊
Just search “RWBY wiki shadow hand” on google and you should find it. With all this in mind, I am just giving you the google search parameters. It should be one of the first results you come up with.
Forgot to add, good luck! Despite how parts of my previous may have sounded, I am very happy to have met you. I always enjoy welcoming new people to the fandom. Maybe that’s just cause I like helping people, or maybe I enjoy teaching, or something like that. Frankly knowing me it’s probably both. Anyway, good luck! 🙂
I'm pretty sure beringals are mentioned in After The Fall during the lower cairn mission though I might be misremembering it
Is Grimm Eclipse good? Been wanting to play it.
Also, does anyone know what the dragon-shaped continent is called?
I think Salem will use the Sulphur Fish swarm in one of two ways, either she'll have them rise out of the crater near Mantle to endanger/attack the civilians our heroes are trying to protect while they're too busy with her. Or they'll serve as Salem's weapons in battle if she doesn't want to go all out with her magic at first when they face her.
Happy Birthday Ruby, my favorite girl!
