  • I have collected 11 more serving ideas (disguises, deceptions and popular toss sequences) for inspiration, including two of my favourite competition serves (you may guess which ones are those) and slow-motion replay. Although my compilation is complete, I'd like to help shaping your way of thinking about the serving game through technical and tactical tutorials in the future.
    In the next video, I'll give you my fundamental tips on developing your serve touch.

    Awesome talent. The last serve is cruel. You have enough content to create a channel just for serves. 👏🏽👏🏽

    Imagine trying that last serve on little kids who can barely reach over the table.

    Good serves. But don’t you think you are hiding the contact point by not dropping the left arm after ball toss.

    • @paragontabletennis8555
      @paragontabletennis8555  3 года назад +1

      Thanks! Normally I would delay the left arm drop as it would unbalance me. I try not to do it too late.

      It was definitely not enough to take me to international level. :) You would be surprised how well top players see through deceptions.

      @@paragontabletennis8555 Thanks for your honestly. But honestly I'm just trying to beat some guys at work on lunch pick up games. You have given me a ton of variety and options now. I have my own table at home so I can break these down and work on them. This is endless fun. Thanks!

      @@cldavis33 if you eant to beat guys at work, learn some hooks, pnedulums and ghost serves, also learn how to do topspin returns on both backhamd and forehand.

    • @cldavis33
      @cldavis33 Год назад

      @@piccolo1125 Thank you for the advice! Yeah, as I've learned these guys at work are pretty good LOL. They pick up my pendulum, heavy underpins and tops/sides, etc. Some guys that are 'knock around' guys come by and can't even return these serves I hit. I even use fake underpins with the 'invisible' topspin serves. They focus hard on the 'contact' when we are serving. They aren't normal work dudes as I've learned. What has started working amazingly well are the two bounce, no spin serves because they know how to loop on underspin. Your variety is what really attracts me though - something a little different they haven't seen before. I love your serve video here. It's a Lexicon!

    After I toss up the ball, if the ball drop directly on the floor without touching my bat or table, will my opponent get a point? Or It’s a reserve?
