    I had just recently found this plant on the Bunnings nursery clearance trolley for which I got it for $1 and it’s still in quite healthy condition!!!
    I was searching for info on how to propagate this beauty and I came across your video so I’d like to thank you for this!!! I hope it’s as easy as you make it look lol
    Wish me luck!!! 😀
    Cheers Xxx

      They are easy to propagate, sometimes fussy to grow, however usually not.

    What type of soil do you recommend for the baby propagated new plant? Also what type of soil do you use for the mother dichondra?

    Can it survive in a very hot weather up to 100 f or even more because I really loved this plant

      We have not grown it as these temperatures, however we think it should, however it will need some shade and extra moisture.

      Yes. It grows really well in Central/Central South Texas, where our Summer daytime temps usually remain 90 to 102 F for 2-4 months.

      Mine has survived a very hot summer here (Connecticut) where for many days the temp was into the 90s f. But I also watch a gardener her on RUclips who lives out West where every summer it gets into the high 90s and over 100. She dichondra grows like crazy for her. It's a magical looking plant. This is my first summer growing it. I adore it and only want more next year. (Where I am, I'll have to take it inside over the winter; hopefully it will take the transition.)

    If done by cuttings, should I put it in water of straight into soil?

    • @johnnyAGardening
      @johnnyAGardening  5 лет назад +3

      We would put them into soil and keep moist, the runners are easier though.

    Can we put the branch immediately in soil??

    • @johnnyAGardening
      @johnnyAGardening  4 года назад +1
