    Nice tip on squaring up the mallard tips. Wood Duck and Mallard can be a real pain in the ass at times.

      @@ericlong9085 No specific order...In the Riffel,Flies by Mak,Davie McPhail,Mainley Outdoors,Mario Fliegendose...So many great tiers.From tiny midges to articulated saltwater flies.Too many to list.I have 672 subscriptions.What might be your picks?So greatful that these tiers in the you tube family post

    New to tying. How do you manage to keep your thread flat or uncorded? Are you twisting your bobbin after you wrap or is there a special technique or bobbin that can help with that?

      I tie left handed so as I wrap, I unwind the factory twist in the thread. Right handlers will need to spin their bobbin to control the twist.

    Just curious but why are you wrapping your thread toward yourself instead of away from you?

      old but Charlie ties Left handed so it only looks backwards
