I have one similar to the first one in the demo you did and similar to the two filtrete filters. My problem is the filter doesn't go in the ceiling in my unit. The filter goes in laying flat above this drum inside the Air Conditioner. I have an apt. style central unit next to the hot water heater in the balcony. It's a honeywell filter (10) with an arrow I assume goes face up. Please show how that goes in. Remember it doesn't go in on it's side like yours does.

Still puzzled. Do the arrow point in the direction toward the furnace going outward away from the house or do the arrow point towards the house.
    My unit is outside.

Silly question, We just purchased a house 4 weeks ago that has a furnace filter on the unit in the attic. PITA to get to but I was able to get to it today. It appears the people that serviced the unit did not have the proper filter so they cut one down. Its ugly to say the least. I did a quick measurement and it seems like it is 24 X 19 X1. this may be a dumb question, but the previous house used a 20X20X1 so it wasn't an issue, but is their a difference between 24X19X1 and 19X24X1? I ordered a 24X19X1 filter when I need one that is 24" long, 19" high and 1" deep.

Every video shows the type of furnace with the easiest or most obvious filter locations. Can't find ours. Not listed on the sticker and nothing labeled.

You're right. Mine is an older model bu tstill works fine. It has 3 filters installed in a zig-zag manner. My furnace at last inspection said they were in wrong, turned them upside down. Next time I went to change them out, they were CLEAN! Now I don't know what to do. I also don't know which way the air flows once the a/c is turned off.

You buy 200 dollars filter and after 2 years you have to change the furnace is it worth it ?
