In this video I'm making a 10 ton hydraulic forge press mainly designed for blacksmithing and knife making. The press was a custom order but after making it I decided to put the press up on my web shop for people to buy one as well. I also announce that I have a new line of t-shirts which is a great way to support the channel.

I really like the way this press is built. Seems to give a good amount of space for anything you need to do
That’s great! Only suggestion would be to make the dies bigger so you can see what you’re doing easier and so that you can flatten the material all the way when working on a thicker piece like you had at the end.

Those weld beads look superb (the press too😅)
One suggestion to whomever builds this would be to put a gusset from the top to the base. Seemed to have a ton of flex there and in short time would have alignment issues. Love the design and will most likely make one like this myself. Amazing skills!!

have you thought about selling only the plans to be able to build yourself?
Good looking build. Why not put a bigger cylinder and faster pump in it though? It looks solid enough to support a 20 or maybe 25 ton cylinder. Nice job either way.

Because once you get a bigger cylinder you also need a bigger pump. And the pumps you will need for a 25 to cyllender will rum you over 4000 $ where I live

the press is o.k but how you going to work all day in a currb is to low yyo need to resolve that isue, how you going to store after you raise
