We also plant our trees and plants a little high for the same reasons. Out West when I used to work out there we would plant them flush and actually put a trough to hold water around all the trees and plants. Different install methods for different climates!

I've always wondered why you don't just take the grass to the landfill in the bags. I would dump the bags, then cut them open there. That way, you don't have to put the cover on it. What do I know. LOL
or dump the grass right into the trailer.

Seems like there's a drainage issue vs too much water
as a person who lives in the uk i can tell you that for us that stihl would be the wrong way around for us too, we use the same normal layout

We finished up scalping on Monday so that’s what all those bags were from!
I saw one of those Stihl mowers the other day. The handle is definitely different. Ill be curious to know how well it feels with only one point of connection to the body.
We didn’t like it. Controls were too weird
whats the point of bagging it just to cut open and dump in trailer? could you just get one of those big waste barrels or wheelborrow to bring grass and leaves to your trailer. seems like a waste of money on bags
I used the landscape trailer to finish scalping so had to use bags

Have you ever thought about using a commercial garbage can and put the grass in it and dump it in the trailer
I do when I have the dump trailer with me. But we scalped with the landscape trailer last week so used bags
What kind of bags do you use for grass clippings? I bought some bags but they suck at holding the clippings.

I need to buy some land first for that. One day I will! But for now renting a shop is fine
