The KC and G2 trade the way people reacted is wow why KC will refuse a trade like that and how G2 will trade 3 insane players for only 1, well the reason is money G2 really really want to trade away Mykix and Yike since they are replacing them but they are still under contract for more than a year that means if they don't get sing up by other org because they are under German Labor Laws, G2 is obligated to pay them 60% of the contract even if they aren't playing and is a BIG contract. Also that's why KC refused, even if they are interested in signing Yike, Mikex and Hans their contracts are WAAAY to high and probably can't afford the cost and Caliste is 1) A very talented player 2) He is already under a much much cheaper contract, and if they want to get Yike or other G2 player they can offer them a contract instead of acquiring the cost of the contract G2 have atm.
KC is loaded with money, but I just think they don't want all 3 with such a price, they have a potentially better adc for less, they will pay the other two roles anyway. The only reason to sell would be if G2 be like "fuck you, now you don't get any of them", but they still have Jankos as an option and want to stick with Targamas anyway.
No matter if this rumour was true or not. Caliste in G2 would be a banger

Tbf not really. If Caliste is actually as good as people say, then there will be at least some competition to G2 in LEC. Forming superteams to stomp your region and lack any competition is a sure way to lose at internationals.

First of all 2/3 of these players are already not gonna play for g2 so ofc they wanna sell them or otherwise gain value from them. What is so hard to understand in not wanting to pay expensive contracts for players you are not even gonna be using? Use your brain.
Secondly the best supp and adc as you say have been a liability for g2 at internationals consistently and haven't lived up to the bare minimum expectations people had of them..

G2 is legit trying to get rid of Mikyx and Yike either way regardless of any other deal going on.
Realistically speaking they are looking for a 1 v 1 trade with Hans. And the buyout money would only partly compensate the difference in salaries of the players they get rid of.
Obviously the GM is gonna deny any such deal was being discussed cause that would mean informing Hans they officially rather have Caliste while still being likely to have him playing for them another year.

@@chloelysithea yeah i thought it was kinda strange they kept hans, but thinking about it no one else was there for the taking except maybe caliste but having two rookies like that wouldve been maybe too much of a gamble (and we saw how it turned out in 2022)
@@dennoplit we also saw how mikyx carried all early games with poppy at msi and it was just few months ago. All of them sometimes screw up sometimes do extreme things except the hans sama. I have never seen hans sama does an extreme gameplay and carry a fight or game he is just a simple adcarry in his best nothing more.
