No, the cotton harvesters are not the same...one is round bail, and one is square bail..the round bailer can be set to auto unload and it dont have to stop when its full where as the square bailer has to stop to drop a bail...
With harvesters you can use any header on any harvester, so even the basic harvesters that come as starter equipment can use the huge headers. Don't choose a harvester because it has a bigger header than the one you want, buy the harvester you want and the header, you want then paint the header to match, it'll be fine.
Another point about the John Deere vs Case Cotton Harvester The John Deere is a round baler and cannot unload the unfinished bale at the end of the harvest The Case is a Square Baler and CAN unload an Unfinished bale
I work for Summers Manufacturing so i have fiddled around with the case quad track and the summers chisel cultivator. Itll shine more once people create different maps with larger fields. Something like the old 4x michigan map from 22 would be great with that machine. You really need those 80 acre + fields
the JD is a round baler which does 10K liter bales so it doesn't really matter as it holds one while it keeps making another bale kinda like the Vicon Auto baler does so you can keep going without stopping to drop off the bale which you'd have to do with the square baler i (assume). but if you look on console it also takes up, less blocks to have too.
@@Farmerjakeyt actually the round baler is automated so it does it by its self and drops it off once it finishes the wrapping it holds it in back a bit then drops it once the next bale is ready to be pushed out wrapped unless they changed it to make you stop?
@johnlerch7699 you don’t have to stop but it has a gap where it doesn’t pickup anything while it moves the bale from the baler to the wrapper. Ends up being 10-20 meters of unharvested material.
@@Farmerjakeyt don't remember it ever doing that i always saw that it kept adding to the next bale like the Vicon baler did it kept going though it looked like it wasn't though i think it acts like the harvester if it did you can just back up and go over the missed bits and still collect what was missed (just guessing at that part .)
@johnlerch7699 yeah you have to stop while it shifts the bale or you will have to back track to pick up missed stuff . The fast baler let's you keep going but it's very slow and only does small bales so it's kinda pointless having so many extra bales to deal with
I came to the same conclusion on the Case vs John Deere cotton harvesters. I will not that the John Deere can actually hold 2 bales if you don't drop them as you go. They are 10000L round bales so you can have 20000L on the harvester. The case makes 20000L square bales. The cotton semi trailer will pick both up and holds 2 square or 4 Round bales. I kept looking for something the John Deere did better for the price but don't think there's anything other than if your having to go up hill the extra HP of the John Deere might not slow down under the load going up hill where the case may go a few MPH slower uphill. I really noticed that in my Ideal 8T combine with the 40 ft header on the UK map where the land isn't flat I would slow from 6 to 4 MPH. The 9T might not slow as much or at all. Will test that when I have the extra money to upgrade. Oh, and spend each day checking the used market months out before you need something if possible. I try to buy everything used with low hours and spend about half what new would cost.
Yea. It really makes no sense that the John Deere is 800k. I can see it being similar priced and not as good. But the marginal horsepower is simply not worth it when you could just run two harvesters and make up that maybe 1mph difference 10 fold. And that’s assuming there is even a hill.
First time player, I don’t understand the difference, or if they are the same. Combine Harvester vs Forager Harvester The Claus Jaguar as example, with Orbit 900 front end, they both harvest corn , etc
I've found that you can put the cr11 big header on the case axial flow. I don't know if you can use any header on any harvester, but I know the new Holland 15.2m will work on a case axial flow
There's a mod that you can dl in game that lets you lock the front wheels for backing up. Cross play? Don't know... Couldn't care less. Cross play mods take more space and less functions due to no scripts.
first of all, you scroll too chaotically and too quickly between the rows and images , for someone to understand the differences between the machines you are talking about, you always have to stop and go back continuously, ...this one is better than this one, that one is better than that one, it's chaotic my friend, it's very hard to understand what you're explaining, plus it looks like an anti John Deere campaign, slow down a bit it's very hard to watch and understand

No one should buy John Deere equipment even in a game the way they are screwing the real farmers
Low key facts.
Not sure how many farmers got access it to it but JD realised the software back in 2023

I avoid those front wheel trailers like the plague
Backing up is about as possible as going back in time
I swear that the Fendt combines unload faster. I also use the mcdon headers for everything because they have wheels built in

For the 2 axle, there is a mod to block the trailer in one axle mod so you can use whatever trailer you get in discounts section

You still have to pause while it moves from the bailer to the wrapper unfortunately.

Also you cant unload unfinished bales in the john deere like you can in the case, big No no for me
@stefan9303 it’s existence in the game is just puzzling
your harvester and header brands DON'T have to match
IRL, the New Holland grape/olive harvesters are configurable, can even set it up as a sprayer. Don't understand why they're locked in in-game.
I believe on the cotton harvesters "without mods". One you can unload early when you cannot, I might be wrong.
Yes. The cheaper one odly enough. The John Deere is just trash in every way
You can unload any type of unfinished square bales, you can't unload any type of unfinished round bale without mods

Any header should fit any harvester (mods may be different)
There's a mod that you can dl in game that lets you lock the front wheels for backing up.

actually its best to buy seed in july at its low and put it in a silo... i
The seed pallets in my game cost more than the big bags. Cool video though 👍
Interesting. Is it modded?
@ No, it’s ps4. The big bags are $800 for 1000L, and the pallet is $950 for 1050L. Also the other one (whatever it’s called) is $900 for 1000L.
