That's so cute, love the color combo you picked. Yes I have embroidered on baby shirt, I add the a soft mesh, can't think of name, ( not in my craft room right now) but it helps keep the stitches from rubbing on baby skin.
Thank you Cutflower ! I love those colors combinations as well. The pink is popping! I use the soft mesh, tender touch, before I pack and send it off. I use it on all of my children clothing.

Can you do it with a 8x8 frame ? Or you think it’ll be too small?
Yes, it most definitely can be done with an 8x8 frame. Just make sure it's centered correctly and your design is a little bit smaller than the frame. If you have a gown that zips on the side, it should be fast.

What size applique and font dod you use
Hey Evelyn! I believe the appliqué is about 2x6. Hope this helps!

How did you get the appliqué name to stitch out full name before doing final satin stitch ? Mine does one at a time. Would love to do mine like you did. You are great teacher.
Hey Deidrhe!!!! Thanks for watching! I am here to help!!! I actually go through and skip the satin stitch, I just do the placement and tack down stitch so I can add fabric. After that I start it over without any stops and let it run. One at a time was driving m crazy so I had to find another solution. Hope this helps! V

Thanks for sharing Alisha, I have a Brother NQ1600, and would have to float the name, splitting it evenly to appliqué. I’m just getting started with embroidery. So I have to practice more before I’m ready for that. Although I can go the beanie. Love your channel.

I have struggle the last few weeks of how to appliqué - I know how those work but how do I stitch one line just before putting fabric on and then stitch one stitch over fabric then cut around it and then how do i embroidery? i have brother innovis 2800D. I have embrilliance Essentials. Hope to get yur message.

It came out super cute Alisha!! I’m going to get that font, been wanted to do this on a gown but the baby’s name is super long and the other appliqué fonts won’t fit even on my 8x12 hoop. I see you got your reborn baby too for pics, it does look real at first glance! Thanks for sharing!! ❤️
Thank you Ashley!!!! :) I love my reborn doll, got her/him from Amazon! You can find the embroidery applique font I used called Summer on Embroideryboutique.com. Make sure to get a gown that has the hidden zipper, you can float it on top.
