      The trick is standing them up with the meat side against the ceramic pot and not overcooking them. Most people let the ribs cook in the grease and they overcook them. Also, what gave them that look was the BBQ Sauce that I used. The brown sugar caramelized in the oven. They were perfect! Thanks for watching.

    Hi AB! After you took the ribs out of the crock pot and added BBQ sauce, you didn't tell us how long and at what temp you baked them. You got me about to get out in these Corona Streets to buy some ribs!! ❤❤❤😁

    That big rubber band is for transporting the cooker to church or grandmas house with a hot meal. It’s got nothing to do with cooking it. Great video!

    Question: if the ribs are too tall to stand against the porcelain, could we still cook at high for 4.5 hours? Trying to figure out what the difference in the end product will be if the ribs are laid flat but all else is the same.
    Great work on schooling us on how to make dishes as scrumptious as yours! Keep it up!

    • @SmokinandGrillinwithAB

      Ok so the purpose of standing them up is to let most of the fat drain down. They will be tender but they lay in their own fat. Btw, that's how I made them for years so I sure they will come out good. It would be nice if you had a small rack to lay them on. Yes the temp will still be the same but maybe reduce the time by a half hour.

    Looks amazing! 2 quick questions though...1, after the first 2 and 1/2 hours on high, pour the bbq sauce and cook additional 1 hour on high right? 2, when the ribs were transferred to oven, did ya just broil for a few minutes or preheat oven to certain temp and bake for certain amount of time? (If so, temp set and time?)

    • @graveyardrumblers
      @graveyardrumblers 4 года назад +64

      Last hour on high... After that he broiled em center rack just long enough to tighten up the sauce to make it sticky and put some crust on the outside of the ribs... You have to keep your eye on them when you do this step because if you're not careful you'll end up burning the sugars in the sauce so don't walk away... Once the ribs get a little char around the edges like his were and the sauce is bubbling its time to take them out✌
