Pretty much every time I come up with my own dimensions. If you are unsure on how ur product would come out, you can make a paper model to help visualize then with time it would become easier

Is it advisable to use maco as the interfacing?
And what size of needle do you use
You can use maco. I usually use DP18 but sewing through thick areas, I switch to DP23 or DB23

I got mine from a vendor here in Nigeria, I don't know the current prices though.

I purchased mine from the market. A regular water hose in similar measurement should work fine too. Any market that sell building materials could have this too.

What’s the needle size you are using to sew board fibre together on your sewing machine
I typically use size DB23 to sew thicker areas

Can I use hard stay instead?
Yes you can but it won't be as sturdy as cellulose paper (kariboard)
