Hey Adam, Quick question. Why did you posi-tap the PDM60 live live into the bike circuit and not connect it with the yellow wire from the canopener? Thanks, Tyler
i'll be honest, looking at all of this scares the shit out of me. I can't believe you trust yourself to take all the fairings etc off. I get scared taking the windshield off :) Anyway, as per usual I love watching all your GSA stuff. Ps- I'm loving the new 2019 GSA 1250. I am looking forward to you getting one of these one day. You'll love it. Continue doing what you do mate. Love these videos.
Bike is going back together now. Maybe I'm a weirdo but I just know how things go together. It's a good way to get intimate with your bike should you ever have an issue on a road trip. Congrats on the new bike!!!!
PDM60 trigger wire, best place I know of is the blue/red wire coming into a pretty large connector right under the seat behind the fuel tank. This PDF from Wunderlich regarding their heated seat shows you where - www.wunderlichamerica.com/mm5/instructions/42720602.pdf
Hello Adam, hope you got some time helping me out. I'm planning to get the Innovv K2 dashcam on my bike, but can't find where to get the trigger wire from. I'm also going to install Denali Lights with their CANsmart, where I won't use the 'brake light' socket (I will use the aux-light and horn socket. Any advise what to do best? Greetz, from Amsterdam
Do you know another blogger named Shawn Smoaks? He is a.Certified BMW mechanicthat lives in a town close to Seattle and Vancouver. He goes to Certified BMW classes in Ontario, California spending a week at a time doing this sort of thing.and learning any new product or Bike or change or recall. If you hookup with him, and show him what you've done to the 1200GS, theres a slim possibility you could find yourself on a trip to sh o w this to BMW top R&D department. Shawn is a You-Tube blogger just like you are and a real cool guy too!!
Hi David. I'm definitely aware of Shawn. We've never crossed paths before. Maybe I send him a mail but being in PNW and me in Northeast, it may not be a serendipitous meeting that we ever do get to meet. Given how tiny the GS RUclips community is, "Shawn Smoak", "TheMissendenFlyer" and "MotoTrek" (anyone else?), the value of collaboration is pretty high amongst all of us but I definitely know my place. I'm not an amazing rider, I don't have a lot of connections. I'm just one guy new to riding who loves this bike and the community around it which is why I go to so many rallies and am a member of a lot of clubs. I don't think I'd add much value to their channel by collaborating but maybe I'm wrong. I guess I"ll write an email and see what happens.

He is meticulous about how he does his work, and like you, the GS is his FAVORITE among the steeds BMW. makes. He even likes it over the big K1600 GTL. He got one as soon as they came out. He has it all decked out with the large Aluminum panniers, and although its too wet to ride very much , you can tease him about not taking it out and getting it wet and dirty.
I did send him an email as soon as I replied here. Doubt he'll reply but you never know. I just introduced myself and linked to my videos in case he hasn't seen them.

Hey Adam, I'm following your channel and your work closely, bought some tools from you links to help support you. Do you know or can you find out more details about the little heat gun that your buddy was using in this video?? I'd really love to get on like it. Thanks, keep up the good work.
Hi Brian, thanks for watching! I'm going to email him right now and ask him to reply directly. He's on RUclips too and posts great riding videos. Standby!
@@AdamChandler86 I have literally read through the couple hundred pages of the saga you posted of all the work you did to get Red Rosie fully farkled. I picked up a 2020 GSA 3 weeks ago, just had the 600 mile service done today, and in the coming weeks I will be installing a lot of the stuff I have accumulated after learning about them from your story. I truly appreciate your work and inspiration! I'm in the northeast (NY), perhaps one day our paths will actually cross in person. Thanks again!

Great question. Your solution would work as well.
Your motorcycle looks like a space shuttle, a good job

Do you know where to connect the PDM60 IT (ignition trigger) for "Engine Running" state?
