Argentina is actually safer than Uruguay, according to data from the last few years. But it's not really that big of a difference. The entire Southern Cone is very safe.

To be honest I never felt that way at all. We invited Audrey's Dad because he's such a natural on camera and for a 3 month trip where we're filming in both languages every day it was kind of nice to have three people helping out in different roles.
