Did you find this tutorial useful? Or is there anything I could add or change about it? Let me know if you have any critiques at all as I'm really wanting to start improving my videos just that little bit more! 😄
How absolutely adorable 🥰 ! This has to be one of my favourite videos that you have made. I am pretty sure I will rewatch it multiple times and show it to my daughter as well, and we even might attempt to paint a cottage together. Especially, as the tea and cookies are mentioned as a part of necessary getup! 😃 Thank you for this 💞
You always write the most loveliest of comments 💛 I hope you both enjoy giving the cottage painting a go! I'll be making a few more of these videos in the future 😊
I want to try and draw a cottage like this myself with colored pencils because i am not much of a watercolorist ☺️ i don't usually draw buildings like this, i mostly draw human characters. So it'll be a challenge for me to try this out 😃👍
Yes it's always a bit of a challenge when you're changing up what you usually draw! I'm the opposite of you haha I draw a lot of houses but rarely draw human characters. Good luck with trying the cottage out - even if it's a challenging experience, I hope it's a fun one, too! 😊
Hi Anna. This is so informative and pretty. I have been painting a couple of years. But sketching buildings is quite new to me. Do you, or would you offer, your sketch to us?
Thank you! It does take a bit of practice to get the hang of sketching buildings (and I still make heaps of mistakes myself!), luckily there's so many pictures of beautiful buildings and architecture that I'm never at a loss of what to draw next! As for your question, do you mean would I sell the original painting? If that's what you mean, I did have this painting for sale, and it was sold a few months ago.

Hi Anna what colours did you use for the washes, thanks for sharing.
Yes, please, I would love to see more like this! So charming and relaxing. I love it🥰
Thank you! More are on the way!
