I don’t really know how he could’ve had better advisors. I would’ve encouraged him to leave early too. He was a McDonald’s AA, scored 30 on Ayton and was a 7-footer.
Sometimes guys can start playing in high school and make it, but a lot of times the first stunt is starting playing basketball too late. The shot is not there, the defensive reflexes are not there, the deep understanding of the game is lacking. I think bottom line here is he should have been playing basketball before ninth grade.
Damn…. I’m from Vegas and I didn’t even remember Dude. I even remember Keion Clark Tyrone Newby, Kaspers Cambalas , Mark Dickle …. Yea…. But I do not remember this much more recent than player Still Surprised Marcus Banks didn’t pan out. Speaking of DO MARCUS BANKS
🚨Hear Me Out🚨 I know this is primarily a channel dedicated to basketball but I would love hearing your insights on Boxing athletes that didn’t quite maximized their potential. Could you do more SG features about boxers? I’d like to suggest Zab Juda or Pernell Whitaker. I think we could all learn from their Triumphs and Follies.
The NBA should leave the draft to an invite for kids still in college. They could simply have the teams honestly admit that they are interested and if so then offer an invite to be drafted
They do that The players submit their names and are asked the likelihood of being drafted and where He was probably told 2nd Round, thought he'd prove them wrong in training, and have his stock boosted
He didn’t do anything wrong . He had a good season . And should have been picked . He just didn’t get picked period . Everything ain’t always a failure . Dice roll like that sometimes
Being around the game over 50yrs,the world is littered with players like this, talented but misguided.Gifted but not mentally strong.Athletic, talented & gifted but lacking work ethic. And finally, some have problems off the court & because of that they have a short leash
LETS JUST STOP W/ THE EXCUSES LIKE KOBE BRYANT SAID ITS 20% TALENT & THE REST IS ALL "HARDWORK" "PRACTICE" & LIKE BILL RUSSELL SAID HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT NO CAPPING
This guy was labeled the "next Michael Jordan" and he believed it. Built with a 6'6" 215 pound frame, he was a part of the Flyin' Illini Squadron along with Kenny Battle and Marcus Liberty. A 1990 first round lottery pick of the Charlotte Hornets, this guy was so cocksure that he once told the media "Fuck Charlotte!" while playing for the Nets and was traded back there anyway. Don't get me wrong, he had a good career but he was never the hyped talent he believed he was. Next on Stunted Growth: Kendall "Cold World" Gill.
Kendall Gill isn't stunted growth...dude had a career and was solid And every guard was called the next Jordan in the late 80s/90s until people started getting called the next Lebron
I can clearly remember that when Kendall Gill played for the Supersonics, it was rumored that he battled with mental health issues. I don't know if that was true or not, but I could clearly remember that He wasn't the same Kendall Gill that played at Illinois or for the Charlotte Hornets.
Gotta have better advisors around.
Marcus Banks
Raymond Felton

Do Jarret Culver
Would love a Delvon Roe stunted growth
Cleanthony Early! Wow, I haven’t heard his name in a long time.
Knicks had so many players that had names different but similar to other players 😊
Renaldo balkman was another one. Rolando Blackman
What’s this soundtrack you use on your videos ? This shii is a cool vibe man especially when you smokin 🔥🔥
So many of these are 6-8 high school freshmen that dominated...yeah.
Being that good and having your dream in arms reach only to see it quickly fade away has to be devastating mentally
Last three Stunted Growths have had me saying "Who⁉️" Snoop Dogg voice
Haha 😆😆🤣🤣
in Korath voice for me
Being a New York Knicks fan Frank Ntilikina would be an interesting one to do.
A series of Mikey D All American Stunted Growth would probably be good
Class of ‘17 🔥
Can you start doing teams ? Like the Maryland terps with exree hipp
What happened to Diamond Stone???

Facts
Agree but i think 2-3 more years in college and maybe a year in the g-league could've caught him up.
Watched all his hs games he was a beast
Damn…. I’m from Vegas and I didn’t even remember Dude.
I even remember Keion Clark
Tyrone Newby, Kaspers Cambalas , Mark Dickle ….
Yea…. But I do not remember this much more recent than player
Still Surprised Marcus Banks didn’t pan out.
Speaking of DO MARCUS BANKS
You should do Chris Porter next.
Do Raymond Anthony from East Aurora High School next
I haven’t heard f bro since high school
Thought of a solid possible future player for a Stunted Growth, Timofey Mozgov

I think we could all learn from their Triumphs and Follies.
Pernell!? Why?
@@janremongalura5713 I believe Whittaker could have done a lot more had he not been occupied with alcohol and other things outside of the ring.
Do a story on CJ Fair why he didn't make it
Do Quade Green next
Facts I wonder what happened to him
Can you do one on Tchaka Shipp…
Do Chris Herron next
please do CHRIS PORTER
This is a throwback legend, that doesn’t get enough credit. Can we get a Stunted Growth on Dominique Wilkins?
He’s in the Basketball Hall of Fame &
Top 75 in the NBA. he doesn’t qualify for having his Growth stunted 😂
Bro what 😂 he’s in the HOF…
Do vernon carey jr tnx

He didn’t make it to the league that was his goal and dream. It’s a faliure
Ayton borderline allstar? 🤔
Kalin Lucas please
Didn’t realize Ayton was at least decent from 3 in college, didn’t translate to the pros.
WHAT HAPPEN TO BRADON MCCOY HE WAS NOT PRIVILEGED LIKE BRONNY JAMES NO CAPPING
Exactly!
Matt Mcclung took his place
Lowell Hamilton

@@troylee4196 You don't have to be a complete bust to have a growth stunt. He never reached the "next Jordan" status. We need to know why.

@@jonathanforeman167 It may have been. Mental health was not an issue back then and carried a heavy stigma.
It’s players like him in the league tho so your analysis doesn’t make sense
He wouldn’t play in any era with that defense
Heard allota bs
I don't know man...like who is this? I feel like stunted growth is a player that was way hyped and didn't live up to it
Like this guy is a rando
I didn’t know him either but a former McDonald’s all-American that went undrafted is definitely worthy of a stunted growth feature to me
Brandon McCoy > Buddy Hield 🤷♀️
How you come up with this comparison?
Like at what level was he ever as hyped or popular than Hield?
No he wasn’t I went to his game in San Diego just tall and undisciplined he was cursing at his coach the whole game
U got proof ? Becuz it had to b something why this guy didn’t make it
