Having spent many years rescuing/ feeding/ neutering those without voice to the extent that one of modest means can, I've seen suffering. Yet, I remain, basically, an optimistic person. However, their being, still, many the time when---- despite my donating all that I have to organizations with volunteers consistently in all manner of trench, hence, gaining more ground than I could ever imagine--- the only way my being able to deal with the knowledge of the horrors, the barbarism to which billions of animals being subjected each year (and children too, but that being another heartfelt commentary) while still experiencing a modicum of sleep at night, followed by putting one foot in front of the other the next morning, is by believing our still living in the dark ages by virtue of an unimaginable number of young souls (despite outwardly appearing age) living amongst us. Horrific, dark ages where the only thing "separating" researcher, factory farmer or greedy corporate personnel from sociopath being license and greenback. Regarding the propensity for hiding one's head in the sand to avoid that painful or shaming, we, the public, forever motivated by want and ego, having been worse than any ostrich. However, due to the internet's exposing cruel practices per "in our face" (albeit, money-making) tactic, the collective global community, i.e., the human race, like the heretofore sleeping giant, is, however seemingly slowly, awakening to the call of conscience. I know predominate enlightenment won't happen with my generation nor, I suspect, with those numerous, yet, to come; but, it's on its way, and when it arrives there will be no rock big enough under which the barbarians can hide.

Whats the name of the book? Id love to buy a copy ❤
Milk the mother, slaughter her calf, and feed a starving child. There that sentence was much easier to read
@@thedude5040 lol, that was very dumb, if u want to help starving people, then up you should cut on meat or dairy. The foods that we feed our animals could go to those suffering people, but because you eat meat and feed food to animals which could hav even go to starving people, you’re making it way worse for the planet. A very hypocritical troll
@@ducktective3253 tis a good think I live in the US where there are bountiful harvests all the time, thanks to advanced fertilizer and GMO crops. We produce so much food that 10% of every gallon of gas (petrol) for cars has 10% ethanol grown within our own country.
By barbarians, do you mean people working in animal agriculture whose work allows the masses to eat?
@@gipbwok2008you can say the same about the sweatshops that makes most of the cheap stuff you find where kids work for 1 cent an hour, but im sure you can see the problem here right?
I would like to have small farm. Couple pigs. Few chickens . Couple cows and a few other different animals that would give me a purpose to get up and feed them. I cant kill them!! What happens next apart from burying them.
so hungry after watching this 🍖🥩😛
Correction: predominant enlightenment.
