Hello Professor, I appreciate your perspective and contributions. Curious your thoughts on SPYG and DGRO. Similar to others, but different or simply inferior in your opinion. Thank you
Spyg and DGRO are very good. I do talk about these and other solid dividend ETFs in this short video so let me know what you think! ruclips.net/video/JApO6L_ejUQ/видео.html
You are correct, they are very similar and will have much overlap so you are not really diversifying any differently by owning both. That said, it’s not “wrong” to hold both and won’t actually negatively affect your portfolio unless you think you are diversifying more than you actually are
Would it make sense to hold VGT and QQQM simultaneously? I own QQQM cause of the potential of large cap growth companies and low expense ratio but want to add more tech to my portfolio with VGT. Is there too much overlap? Currently holding SCHD, O, VOO, and QQQM as staples in my portfolio.
It wouldn’t hurt but it also would be a pretty high overlap with what you already hold (between VOO and qqqm). That being said, it’s still not a bad idea
VGT has been better in the past and I can see it continuing that streak. I like VUG a little more because of the fact that it diversified a little better and isn’t JUST tech
Need help y’all, I have saved $500 and get $90 from cash assistance (recovering spine injury, home ridden for a bit, unemployed atm) either once or twice a month that I started depositing $100 in my TD, should I just focus dumping on 1 ETF like SCHD or spread it out to different ones? What’s the best route to quickly start compounding interest? Thanks

I do better with single stocks and a highschool diploma than Cathie Wood's ARK funds. Not that I am a genius. No. Managing 1/2 a million is a heck of a lot easier than $50B. Apples and oranges.
Prof G, have you researched Cathie's funds? She actually invests for 5-10 years from now while the other funds you mention do not. Volatile for sure but so is crypto and you invest in that. And no, I have not invested in her funds. Index funds will never outperform the index they are tracking by any meaningful amount.
The bird said to the bull I wish I could fly to the top of that tree, but I just can’t do it anymore in the bull said if you eat my shit twice a day for six months, you’ll have the strength and the energy to get to the top of the tree so the bird did that and then one day the bird flew to the top of the tree and he looked out and he loved everything that he seen and then a hunter came by and seen a big fat bird in the top of the tree, and shot the bird out of the tree and killed it hope and bullshit will get you so far
Here's what they guys are not trying you about Kathy.. Like most funds ,They ALL have to always be invested in the stock markets .. show how much the other major players are down that are run by men. They won't 🤷🏿♂️
I know you’re not not taking the past 10 weeks and considering that a time frame to judge 🤣. Zoom out to even just 1 year and ARK is down almost 50% where S&P 500 is down 12%. For 5 year chart: ARK is up 2%, S&P 500 up 55%..
@@NolanGouveia yes ark is composed of high risk stocks though. It's as if buying a stock while owning a normal etf is boring and slow. I'm sure it will outperform but you are right about it's past year
Yes on 2 3 and 4
(SCHG QQQM AND VGT)
SMH and SOXQ for good measure.
Thoughts on SMH?
I am definitely building SCHD as a new core holding
Heck yes! About time 😏😉
Same here.
I have SCHD in my new 114 ETF portfolio but it is one of my weaker performing ETFs. High dividends are overhyped.
Your vids are so helpful. Thanks for all you do!
Thankyou for the feedback!
I'm invested in schd, vym, dgro and spyg 25% each.
That’s a lot of cash flow! Nice

Thoughts on Ark funds past 5 years(?)
A lot of hype with no foundation. Similar to the GameStop or dogecoin craze. It’s very high risk for hopefully a high reward but I don’t like it
RUN from it

Hi professor!
How do you feel about SCV?
In particular AVUV? Many feel SCV is the best growth sector of the market long term
I don’t invest a lot in small cap but this is definitely one of the stronger SCV funds out there. It’s definitely crushed it over the past 5 years!
Cool i have SCHD i just need to drop more money into it😁

Nice! I've gone back and forth with my ETF pie on M1 but decided to just keep it simple. 50/50 SCHD/SCHG is what I'm sticking with.
