Hey guys, don't suppose you have a comparison between a Crown stick and the Grays AC10? I'm really torn at the moment, but the only thing relevant I found online is that Crown sticks are slightly on the heavier side...
Lastly, any tips for wide fitting shoes would save my life! Thanks in advance!

Hey Jordan, I'm not really sure that it is a fair comparison. It is very difficult to compare Crown sticks to others as we are producing an extremely different product and working at a very different level. It is also impossible to compare against other stick models directly as by nature the other manufacturing method used by all other brands is inconsistent, so every stick produced is very different, even if it is the same model. As a result of this each individual stick performs differenly when tested.
We have made a huge jump up in performance, to give you some indication the Crown stick's material cost alone would be 8 times higher than the entire production cost of the closest competitive product. We really are working at a very different level creating a very different product, we have the goal of making the best stick.
Thanks for the question, also in regards to wide feet: This is all personal opinion, but the older the Grays shoes the wider they seem to be, and some wide footed players have slowly been moving to Asics also.
Please let me know if you have anymore questions or wish for me to go into greater detail about anything.

@@samb1282 Hi Sam, unfortunately the estimated delivery time of the stick and with the season already started, I had to get an off the shelf solution from Grays (GR 10000) I still would like to try a Crown hockey stick, and I'm thinking about one for next year, but same as you, it's very difficult to get an actual read on how the stick will feel, particularly weight for me as a striker. I'm not concerned about performance as it will be a pro quality stick, but just weight and balance. I recently tried about 10 generic sticks and it's surprising the level of difference!

@@jordy46682 i recently bought a y1, its a really nice high quality stick and I really think you should look into them if you want allot of power when stricking the y1 glb x is really nice same as the y1 lb x .
The new adidas chaos fury's is also a really good pick

@@samb1282 the lb x is a great option its the one i have and you really cant go wrong with it but if you only play up front and don't do any flicking the glb is also a really solid pick
