Thank you for the info. My husband was diagnosed with congestive heart failure almost 20 years ago. Juicing removes the fiber. Whole Foods are better for a medical condition because you are serving up plant sugars with none of the fiber or enzymes. Spinach salad or broccoli on the plate is less labor and more effective. No MD will tell you to juice. He’s just getting a liquid sugar high. Nature makes fiber and plant sugar together for a reason. Fiber is a transport. There’s no substitute for healthy eating. And there are no medical studies that support juicing or smoothies.

I would add omega 3 as it is also an important nutrient though not a vitamin or mineral. Also Vit D helps calcium get absorbed but it’s k2 that ushers it out of arteries and into bones. Overall great video!
@cathiemcginnis3997 Nattokinase (and Natto itself) certainly should fit the theme of this video. I think Nattokinase, 8000 -- 10000 FU, would practically do much more for you than the baby aspiriri they used to push for. I would like to see long time studies with Nattokinase. They would likely make a robust difference for atherosclerosis and CVD. But who would pay for that? So, we have to guess, and extrapolate.

Eating Natto 3-4 times a week, drinking Matcha tea on a daily basis, drinking Pomegranate juice, and adding spices like turmeric , black pepper, and cayenne pepper powder to your foods can also be very beneficial in keeping your arteries clean and heart healthy

A mineral which is not mentioned here is Boron. This similarly to k2 makes the body remove calcium from the wrong places and move it to the bones. Without this the body cannot use vitamin D properly and it also helps usage of magnesium. We don't get anything like enough of this as we have depleted it though overuse of fertilisers.

@Reenu sharma Actually 100 ug of K2/MK7 is kind of minimum. The research isn't complete concerning optimal levels. And they have used much to big doses of K2/MK4 (15 mg 3 times a day) in research, and claims no side effects or toxicity. I would not go over: K1 1 g K2/MK4 1 g K2/MK7 200 ug (mcg for you Americans) That might even be near optimal, but we don't know that yet. You can get K2 from fermented food, and K1 from leafy greens. So, if you eat those regularly, you are good. But if you take 5000 IU of vitamin D3 daily, some K2 would be appropriate. (And get calcium from food, not from supplements. Because D3 increases the uptake of it.)
Summary: Vitamin E, Magnesium. Bcomplex, Vitamin K2, Potassium, Vitamin D( no, Vitamin D3 might increase calcification of blood artries, so always take d with k2). Q10. He just listed all of them?

I highly recommend getting everything you possibly can in soft gel form for all supplements as the absorption rate is 98% whereas powdered capsules and tablets do not get absorbed nearly to what the dosage claims. Also best form of magnesium to supplement with is magnesium glycinate.
Hello , just my 5 cents k2 should be taken in the form of mk7 . D3 should be taken with some form of fat , for example, butterd toast , olive oil avocado, etc, plus black ground pepper, which also helps the body to absorb d3 . If you have pernicious anemia, you will have to inject b12 as the body will no absorb oral b12 , plus folate not folic ,as folic is chemical and folate is natural . Hope this helps
Hello My 2 CENTS ARE THAT YOU SHOULD NEVER SUPPLEMENT VIT D BECAUSE YOU DOWNGRADE PRODUCTION FROM SUNLIGHT. SO IF YOU NOT SICK DESPERATELY. DO NOT SUPPLEMENT.
I would take food grade K2 in the form of your own freshly fermented sauerkraut. This food also contains more probiotics and prebiotics than you can buy. Simply shred cabbage, put in a big bowl, add some course celtic salt and mix it together with your hands until it's good and wet. Put in jar, make sure all cabbage is covered is submerged in the cabbage wager. Use the outer leaves to press down the contents, seal the jar and place in a cool, dark place. Check every couple days to see how it's progressing by tasting it. Tons of videos on this. This is extremely nutritious and exceeds store bought sauerkraut that is pasteurized.
They can suppress or counteract, thats why I stagger them. Take one vit, a few hours later take another one, etc. I dont take all vits together at the same time, i spread them out even over days.
I take D+K2, Magnesium and C all together because there are fat-soluble vitamins and i like to have them for breakfast, because I also have coconut milk there. I take zinc with water a few hours later because it is a water soluble vitamin. And I take another 100 mg of magnesium in the evening before I go to sleep. I try to take vitamin E with an Paprika or other foods containing E. I also like to take omega 3 with walnuts in the evening. One should also be careful not to take too much vitamin C, so 1000 mg is maybe too much, because it can destroy the magnesium and vice versa. Better 500 mg C and 300 mg magnesium spread over the day. And also try to get a lot of vitamins through food. like a fennel is full of vitamin A. You can't just rely on the pills, you have to strengthen your body and mind with your eating habits. It does take time, but in my car I put petrol and not coke , although I think there is enough fuel in it for it to drive😅 What is also very important to me is that the vitamin capsules are not plastic but made from natural cellulose which is not stored in the body as microplastics.
I have also learned that perhaps the most critical factor that can predict the probability of getting a heart attack is the triglyceride to HDL ratio! For non-African people, the upper limit is around 2.5 and for African people, the upper limit is around 1.5 according to several studies done and was also reported by Dr. Lustig on another utube webinar. Thought you wish to comment on this rather important ratio.
Didn't work for me. All my ratios were fine. Only ldl was high at 140 triglycerides 52. Total cholesterol 237. Crp was low. I had a heart attack 55 year old woman with one risk factor, high ldl. I take a lot of vitamins now.
@@wednesdayschild3627 This ratio doesn't work for everybody, it's an indicator only, other factors could be involved. The Great Cholesterol Myth by Sinatra and Bowden is a great book to read through and keep handy. Best wishes for a healthy future.
Hope you know 90% of so called AAs are NOT African at all! Countless studies have proven they 1:16 are the offspring of the original autonomous ppl of America!!. ( Original Amerindians) So not sure that study would apply to them at all...
It is frequently claimed that vitamin K2 should be taken for removal of calcium from vein walls ( tunicas) and that k1 has nearly no effect of this kind, but is rather a trigger of blood clotting, which may be dangerous as many people with heterozygote Leiden mutation are not aware of their risk factor.
Good to know thanks for that gem of wisdom and precaution I used to eat up to10 cups of arugula a day. Did not understand way but my body craved it. I later learned I am uber flouritoxic...the NO2 helped me somehow.
I live in rural Mozambique and with no street address to buy and receive all these tablets..anyone with a recipe of Vitamin K to make at home..heard of natto is there a way to make it minus having it sent from the moon..thanks
Please ensure that when you refer to Vitamin K you clarify K1 or K2, K2 helps with removing calcium from the blood (into the bones), K1 does very different things (associated with blood clotting)
The timing of when to take supplements and vitamins can vary depending on individual preferences, routines, and the specific recommendations from your healthcare provider. If you are taking supplements and vitamins to address or prevent heart calcification, here are some general guidelines to consider: Multivitamin and Mineral Supplements: These are often best taken with a meal to enhance absorption. Taking them with food can help reduce the likelihood of stomach upset. If your multivitamin includes calcium, it should be taken separately from any other calcium supplements. Calcium Supplements: If you are taking calcium supplements to address heart calcification or for any other reason, it's typically best to take them with a meal, as this can improve absorption. Calcium supplements should not be taken at the same time as iron supplements, as they can interfere with each other's absorption. Vitamin D: Vitamin D is often taken in conjunction with calcium because it helps the body absorb calcium. Many people take vitamin D supplements with a meal for better absorption. However, if you have specific medical advice regarding vitamin D supplementation, it's essential to follow your healthcare provider's recommendations. Magnesium: Magnesium can be taken at any time of day. Some individuals prefer taking it in the evening because it may have a calming effect and promote better sleep. Vitamin K: Vitamin K is often taken with meals, as it is fat-soluble and is better absorbed in the presence of dietary fat. Fish Oil (Omega-3): Fish oil supplements can be taken with or without food, depending on your preferences. Some people find that taking them with meals helps reduce any potential aftertaste. Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10): CoQ10 can be taken with a meal to enhance absorption. It's a fat-soluble compound. Remember that individual supplement needs can vary, and it's crucial to consult with a healthcare provider or a registered dietitian to determine the appropriate supplements and dosages based on your specific health goals, dietary intake, and any medical conditions you may have. If you are taking multiple supplements, it may be helpful to create a consistent daily routine to ensure you remember to take them as recommended. Additionally, avoid exceeding recommended dosages for each supplement, as excessive intake can have adverse effects. Your healthcare provider can guide you on safe and effective supplement use for heart health and overall well-being.
One very important factor that was not mentioned here is , that NO AMOUNT of vitamins taken will ever help , if the person will be sedentary. To utilize the vitamins and micro elements from your food intake YOU HAVE TO MOVE - at least a daily walks and some calisthenics is a necessity - otherwise nothing will be of benefits.
If you only eat what you catch, hunt or grow you will never have to worry about any of this. Don't eat food factories grow even if it's called organic. Know what you're eating you can't catch protein without moving. Problem solved
I’m 62. I was a caregiver to elderly parents and a grandmother for a total of 17 years. My grandmother eventually spent time in a nursing home where I visited her every other day, with my mother visiting her in the alternate days. My father had a series of 8 strokes but was able to be cared for at home until his last massive stroke. My mither had open heart surgery. None were overweight. But they could not be very active due to age and illness. Many elderly in nursing homes cannot even get out of bed. Nevertheless, all people have nutritional needs and any nutrition that is supplied to the body is utilized. So your statement that being sedentary negates any benefits from nutrition is incorrect.
For water soluble vitamins (e.g. B vitamins) it probably doesn't matter when you take them. Some "experts" say it's better to take fat-soluble vitamins with fatty food, inferring they will absorb better with that food. That would include D, E, and K2. Some people say vitamin D should be taken earlier in the day because it's the "sunshine" vitamin. Others say it helps with sleep. It's likely an individual thing that you have to try yourself. Mg has a relaxing effect so I like to take it before bed (but I also take one capsule with breakfast as well).
CX8 by Xtend-life has all of this things and more! Its bit pricey though but worth it! Well researched product because the creator himself has heart calcification and surgery
I have read that If it's liquid or gel like you take with food but any vitamin that messes with your tummy that does not take with meal you may eat a piece of fruit or crackers
It is unfortunate that the presentation did not differeciate between two different forms of vitamin E - Tocopherol and Tocotrienol. Tocotrienol is highly the best. It is known as ANNATTO E.
Know your LPa and your APOB numbers. If you have low, both under 40 nmol/liter you’ll never have to worry about this. If your number is more, get aggressive with diet and exercise! Good luck! My LPa is 101, elevated and my APOB is 82. I have gotten aggressive with this. Thank you for the video.
Tomato is known to have high potassium, and you should always cook it. The potassium from tomatoe paste or sauce, or marinara sauce, is more absorbable. We need like 4,700mg or so of potassium daily, and there is no supplement that has even has like 10-15 % of it.
The idea that we need 4700 mg/day of potassium has, to my knowledge, no scientific basis. It's a myth or idea that is perpetually repeated to the point that everyone believes it and keeps quoting it.
Most vegetables has a good level of potassium. But it takes about 700 g of vegitables to get the daily requirement. Only vegitarians eat that much of them. I don't eat that much vegitables. Maybe half of that. But I get some potassium from the kind of "natrium reduced" salt I utilize. It's a mineral salt, but with 30% potassiumcloride added. It actually tastes better than other kind of salts, I think. My potassium and Sodium levels are pretty much optimal.
To get optimal benefit from Vitamin D, take it combined with K2 and magnesium. Vitamin D needs the K2 to make for better absorption and utilization within the body. The magnesium should be pure (many magnesium supplements contain some fillers like oxides). I take Vitamin D Plus (which includes the vitamin D, magnesium, B12 and K2) all combined in one. Also, when I take my supplement 20 minutes before bedtime, it helps with getting a better sleep.
@@brando36922 You are incorrect! Vitamin D and K2 when taken together have more benefits than if taken separately. From Dr. John Campbell: "Vitamin K2 works synergistically with vitamin D, and both act as co-enzymes. One important role they have is to manage calcium metabolism and assimilation - getting calcium absorbed from the diet and into the bones, and working with proteins to prevent calcium from going into tissues. Vitamin K2 is important for directing calcium to the bone; without vitamin K2 it is thought that excess calcium gets deposited in plaque buildup in the arteries"
Was pleased to hear the reference to my favourite, Dr Michael Gregor. Also I'm imagining magnesium in its wholefood plant based form carries all the different forms in the one?
I found this information extremely valuable since I have arterial plaque buildup. My GP advised me that the plaque cannot be removed and that it's like a cement lining in a pipe! Is this true? Will the above 6 vitamins also assist in reducing the plaque buildup, particularly K2+D3 ?
Yes do your research there is a Dr who reduced his own calcium plaque with this protocol. GP will just scare you , take your own health into YOUR own hands. Research , research and readers again. All the best on your journey into achieving excellent health.
Go to a Naturopath...read The China Study. I went plant based and lowered my cholesterol by 40 pts in 5 mo and had tons of energy! It's not an easy change but worth it!! Lots of fun videos on plant based whole foods cooking!
I find very toxic promoting the idea that eating certain foods leads to health problems. This only leads to frustration and losing self control eventually, which leads to health problems. In reality it is not a food itself that is causing a health problem, it is the habit, it is how often you eat that food, what else you eat with that food, what you do after you eat, a series of other habits like sleep, sports, stress and and so on.
Congratulations ! I have a question ? Do you have an ideia what can be done to reduce mediocalcinosis due to patients who are doing hemorrhoids? Thank you .
Niacin (the kind that causes flushing). My cholesterol levels came down to normal after adding 1000 mg of niacin per day The best vitamin e is tocotrienols ( I use tocopherol free)
A good list. However, I have read that one reason for plaque buildup was because the walls of our vessels are weakening, and there is need to strengthen them with plaque. If this is correct, one way to avoid plaque is to keep the vessel walls strong. Those who promote Vitamin C suggest a combination of Vitamin C and L-lysine.What are your thoughts?
Yes, vitamin C and L-lysine repair the damaged walls while also picking away at the plaque. It’s crucial to supplement with copper while doing this tho. Vitamin C heavily depleted your copper and can cause aneurysms as copper is also vital for healthy blood vessel strength! A deficiency will also cause your hair to grey. Which explains why Pauling had blinding white hair.. as did Einstein.. who died of an aneurysm, coincidentally. So yes.. Pauling knew a lot. But this is 2023 and we know a lot more ;) so make sure your taking as much nutrition in their whole complex and with other co factors so as to not create a deficiency in other areas. For example.. B1 taken alone depletes other b vitamins so taking it with nutritional or brewers yeast is a must. In the same way consuming too much zinc will also deplete your copper so having the two in the proper balance is crucial. Knowledge is power!!! More health to you ❤️
Good information. I would add taurine supplementation since is anti-oxidant and free radical scavenger. Has also been shown in studies to improve cardiac function in patients with congestive heart failure in double blind studies. When added to patients normal cardiac medications exercise ability was increased.

@@reshmamohammed4525 serrapeptase and nattokinase are clot-eroding called fibrinolytic enzymes because they break fibrin, the first stage of unwanted clots. When the fibrin is released it re-exposes the arterial plaque as well, and BlockBuster Allclear I think added lipase the fat-eroding enzyme but it's not absolutely required. Sorry but your name might suggest to me a bias towards vegetable oils in the diet but they do cause the plaque by oxidation the whole time they are circulating, while saturated fat does not form plaque...so for vegetable oils coconut oil, extra-virgin olive oil isn't so bad, lard and butter if you can take lard and butter. But not second or third pressing, you may as well eat boiled linseed oil, the plaque standard we use in paint has been overcooked vegetable oil for decades. All good, dude... :)
@@carlaSunset No I don't think I had much plaque in the first place because I stopped eating margarine and canola and soy oils; the plant oils rancidify and plaque and the saturates or even monounsaturates like butter, lard, extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil really don't make plaque even if they are heated. I'm a health coach so I didn't develop diet-related illness (I think). And I go low on the white sugar and breads because they are a high-oxidation factor, related to cognitive decline because of it.

@@reenusharma5156 100 mcg ( MK-7 form ) per day.
Correct.
@Reenu sharma
Actually 100 ug of K2/MK7 is kind of minimum.
The research isn't complete concerning optimal levels.
And they have used much to big doses of K2/MK4 (15 mg 3 times a day) in research, and claims no side effects or toxicity.
I would not go over:
K1 1 g
K2/MK4 1 g
K2/MK7 200 ug (mcg for you Americans)
That might even be near optimal, but we don't know that yet.

When is the best time all the supplements and vitamins you mentioned. Thanks
The timing of when to take supplements and vitamins can vary depending on individual preferences, routines, and the specific recommendations from your healthcare provider. If you are taking supplements and vitamins to address or prevent heart calcification, here are some general guidelines to consider:
Multivitamin and Mineral Supplements: These are often best taken with a meal to enhance absorption.
Keep moving don’t seat all day.

What time of the day and with or without food is it best to take supplements?
For water soluble vitamins (e.g. B vitamins) it probably doesn't matter when you take them. Some "experts" say it's better to take fat-soluble vitamins with fatty food, inferring they will absorb better with that food. That would include D, E, and K2. Some people say vitamin D should be taken earlier in the day because it's the "sunshine" vitamin. Others say it helps with sleep. It's likely an individual thing that you have to try yourself. Mg has a relaxing effect so I like to take it before bed (but I also take one capsule with breakfast as well).

Vitamin k2 and vitamin d aren't good to take together.
That is the Linus Pauling protocol to remove plaque. Vit C and Lysine.
Nobody else seems to mention it. I wonder why?
@@AnneGarberKompaore I’m up there in age so I remember when he was promoting Vit C. The added lysine came later. Maybe they find his work outdated.
Proline, Lysine and vitamin C for endothelial layer.

you had plaques in neck arteries and then these supplements disappeared??
@@carlaSunset No I don't think I had much plaque in the first place because I stopped eating margarine and canola and soy oils; the plant oils rancidify and plaque and the saturates or even monounsaturates like butter, lard, extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil really don't make plaque even if they are heated.
