Motorhome Road Trip | Yorkshire | The Highest Pub in the British Isles | Sandringham Campsite

We leave our Motorhome / Caravan site in Edinburgh City, and head to North Yorkshire. we drive through some lovely scenery with steams and roaming sheep etc, to then arrive at our next destination ‘Tan Hill Inn’ ( This is not an Ad and we paid for everything ourselves). This is the highest pub in the British Isles. We booked and paid £10 for the night to use facilities in the car park. We booked and had a meal in the pub. After a good nights sleep and waking up to our friendly neighbours the wandering sheep, we headed off to stop and drive through a village called Reeth, and then Richmond. After quite a long drive we needed up at our next destination Sandringham. This is the Royal Estate, although we dint get to visit the estate, we was stayed a lovely site there. This was the last vlog on out epic road trip through England and Scotland. We loved every minute of it and saw some amazing things along the way

Glad you enjoyed Tan Hill! It’s a great stopover. Wayne - you’re in Yorkshire; it’s always windy and cold 🤣 I bet you’re glad you were here with no snow. Have you seen they’ve just had a massive lockdown due to snow? Guests sleeping on the Inn floor for three days!

Yes we did see it on the news.... Not a bad place to be snowed in for a while, put the music on get the cards out plenty of drink ( tea of course lol ) could have a right old shing dig lovely part of the UK 👍

Were they Clive and Amanda Owens sheep 🐑? You go one way to Reeth Yorkshire, but if you take the opposite road you end up in Cumbria. There used to be a Barclays Bank and all sorts of different shops in Reeth . Now it’s too touristy. 🎼 Sweet lass of Richmond Hill, I knew a lass a Bonny lass, sweet lass of Richmond Hill 🎹 !

Hi. I’m really interested in buying a Motorhome. Love your channel. Question. Where would you park if you were leaving the campsite to travel into a village. I.e. limited space and no car parking. Would you leave the Motorhome on the campsite and go into the village by another means?

All different places either on the campsite or a car park. Being only 6m it is easier to park the MH on most longer ones to be honest. We actually didn't have a problem parking the MH. Hope this helps 👍
