Brother they did not just practice overnight and put them on that stage. They trained for fo ur years to be able for them to master every move and their voices. If you want to join them you have to do tge same training. But anyway thank you for reacting to them . Hope you really love ang support them no matter what.

I'm sorry to make this correction..but they're not trying to "break into the K-pop industry". Their goal is to break into the OPM and P-pop industry. They are managed by a Korean company and inspired by K-pop but they label themselves as P-pop, they belong to the Philippine music industry, their main target market being their fellow Filipinos and their ultimate goal is for OPM/P-pop to be known worldwide.
All cool! I'm happy to learn from a misunderstanding and learn more about Filipino Entertainment and SB19.
And their management company is in the Philippines. 👍

Sejun was the one who rapped first then Josh. The rap was not in the original song. The original was a pure ballad by another great vocalist named Michael Pangilinan. Sejun the leader and lyricist of the group created the rap verses for him and Josh.
1 fact though: You might think this ballad sounds KPop but to be very honest, Filipinos have been known for decades for making heart-wrenching ballads. Most people think our songs sound like KDrama OSTs when in fact our ballads have been dominating the Filipino Music scene waaaay before people even heard of KPop. It's been around for like...DECADES. Your older Filipino relatives would definitely know A TON of these songs. So I kinda get a bit off when people say our ballads sound like KDrama OSTs. Because from my perspective we have been singing those kinds of songs even before KPop Industry realized it was a thing.
It's just like with PPOP when critics try to say it's copied from KPOP. But really it is inspired by a combination of both KPOP and American Pop. Just like KPOP is inspired by American Pop. #Fact☺️

Since they are under a Korean company, people always have the misconception that they are a "kpop group". Which they are not. They are based here in the Philippines, and the songs released in their Get In The Zone Album are all in the language of Filipino (Tagalog) and English (the 2nd official language of the PH). They are, thus, a PPOP boy group. Their market are in the Philippines, so they are not "breaking into the kpop industry". It is their goal though to be known worldwide, and represent the PH in the world stage.
Please do check them out to know more about their craft. Aside from their vocals, they are also great dancers. For their dance songs, they have Go Up, Alab (Burning) and Love Goes (with two versions: original and EDM).
If you want to hear more of their ballads, aside from their Bakit Ba Ikaw cover, they have their songs Tilaluha and Hanggang sa Huli.

@@Embee09 it's because they're not KPop in the first place (but influenced since they're under a Korean agency and did undergo Korean intensive training). I really appreciate it this comment because I personally don't like reading comments labeling them as KPop.
Its PPop group from the philippines one of emerging boy band group in asia hit a 3rd spot of billboard social 50 following of blackpink to the 2nd spot and BTS in the 1st spot they are recognized now becoz of their unique voices they can sing very well and also dance that very syncronized .. hope to react to them alot of their video trust me they are amazing ..

Thank you for reacting! Fun-fact, they rearranged the song. The original song does not have rap verses. They do not sing Korean in their own songs but IS REALLY GOOD with their Kpop covers!!
SB19 is a P-pop group because they promote Filipino culture through their songs since they write based on experiences and choreograph it. They are, indeed, influenced by K-pop through their style because they are fans themselves. And of course, adapted the Kpop formula on idol training. But the boys definitely are fans of Filipino music, evidently shown with their debut song, Tilaluha, a ballad which Filipinos love.

Finally! Thanks Sage for the reaction and the mention!🙌🏻 I really appreciate it. Actually since they are Filipino, they labeled themselves P-pop (Philippine Pop or Pinoy Pop). Just like J-pop (Japan Pop), C-pop (China Pop), T-pop (Thailand Pop), V-pop (Vietnam Pop) and such. K-pop actually is a genre influenced by both Western Pop and J-pop.

Bakit Ba Ikaw is originally sung by Michael Pangilinan and it doesn't have rap in it. Their leader, Sejun, wrote and added it for their cover. Josh, that guy with the voice you like is actually a rapper in the group.
They are PPOP, not Pinoy KPOP. They are promoting Pinoy music and talent, singing in Tagalog and English. Their goal - to try to break into the music (pop) industry both locally and internationally :) hope you'll check out their Korea Times Interview and Go Up dance practice (this is what made them go viral)
