The C4 is a chemical reaction, that can only be set off by the detonator. Its super durable. I learned that in Chem class awhile ago. So this makes perfect sense.

C4 requires an electric current to explode. You can actually light it on fire in real life and it won't explode. Or so I've been told.
Is being lit on fire the same thing as being inside of an explosion in this scenario? The fact that the C4 contains explosive within a fire-proof container does not prevent the explosives from exploding in a chain reaction if the container itself breaks from the initial explosion too.

Maybe the whole thing about Zoroark being able to be in the Master Ball is a callback to that Gen 5 event where Zoroark used to disguise as one of the legendary dogs.

I thought people knew this: C4 explodes via an electrical signal only.
Punching it, firing bullets it and even lighting it up on fire won't set it off to explode.
Rest is actually significantly different than in Pokémon games. In the original games, it just puts the user to sleep to recover HP. The user may wake up 2-5 turns later or with a Chesto berry or other item, but in no main series Pokémon game does Rest deal damage.
As for Dr Mario not being an echo fighter of Mario, he was more similar in Melee back when Mario had the spin attack as his down special. Now he has F.L.U.D.D. from Sunshine, but Doc kept the tornado. That's probably why.

They explained the Final Smash transformations changes - they wanted all of the final smashes to be punchier and finish quicker for pacing reasons. The transformations were cool but they definitely felt like a drag at times. I like all of the newer ones better.
In smash 4 when peach uses counter toad vomits but now in ult toad releases spores
ACKSHUALLY C4 is an explosive that only detonates via electrical impulses. You can punch it, swing a hammer on it, heat it, shoot bullets at it and even try to blow it up with another explosive. None of them work. Only an electric detonator can detonate C4. I learned it from Mythbusters.
Nintendo explicitly said why they removed final smashes like Land Master, Wario Man, Giga Bowser, etc. It’s because they were clunky and very elongated, and they just wanted the final smashes to be quick so you could get back to playing normally.
Steve's fishing rod in Minecraft can only grab mobs and other players/items. And you can fish with it of course. It can't latch onto blocks therefore it can't latch to the ledge in smash.

Panda should do a smash player sf6 tournament when the game comes out. It'd be interesting to see how quickly they pick it up. And seeing competitive play from relative noobs. Cool to see a fresh perspective too. And get the panda fgc's to commentate and coach.

The final smashes are cutscenes so that the player isn't invincible for 30 seconds like they were in previous games.
C-4 is a plastic explosive. It can pretty much be only blown up with a detonator. No fire, acid, explosives, or trauma.
The comedy of Hannenbow just dawned on me- the bottom doesn't act like water, but it looks like it because it's a Sound WAVE 🌊 🤣🤣. Thanks Coney/Sakurai.
8:38 Funny thing about that; in gen 5 there was an event where you could run into Zoroark disguised as a Suicune, a Legendary that's also contained within the Master Ball item in Smash, so if anything its just a funny reference

Aa far as I know, C4 as a plastic explosive is triggered electrically and will not detonate from other explosions, and can even be lit on fire relatively safely as an emergency cooking method. Nintendo is based.

Well the rock thing makes sense in Kirby, since the Stone actually makes you invulnerable, but not invulnerable to Suplex
For kirby's stone form, he still's ticklish. Hence why he breaks form on being grabbed/tickled.
For snakes c4, c4 is actually quite a stable explosive. Hitting it with blunt force won’t cause it to explode, and even other explosives aren’t guaranteed to make it go off. That’s why it’s used in militaries so frequently. Low risk of accidental detonation.
I feel like Jigglypuff’s rest move can be explained by the fact that it’s a Pokémon. Pokémon are capable of shooting giant laser beams and moving mountains. Falling asleep and doing damage is like one of the least crazy things that Pokémon can do
C4 detonates when an electrical current passes through it.
Pokémon trainer remake… each Pokémon has one life, you can switch through them and they all are at the damage you left them at. Once one dies, you only have the other two left. I think that would be so fun, forces you to use all 3 and it would fix that “problem” addressed in the video how one will be at a certain level of damage when they were never on the battlefield
This only works in three stock games though, doesnt work if u change the stock count

9:58 actually there's some excuse here! C-4 is so stable an explosive that only a detonator can actually make it explode properly. whether another explosive can set it off, I haven't been able to find, but fire and gunshots definitely don't.

One thing that doesn't make sense to me is the fact that Charizard uses flare blitz at a vertical angle to hit the ground in one of his victory screens, but you cant do that in the game. Add vertical angles to flare blitz!

For anyone wondering point 25 (the one about controling FSs) It's because for a few of them, there was a glitch on Sm4sh and Brawl that made it so you could die while in some of them in stamina mode but come back to life ON 0 HP when the smash ended. Why they didn't just fix this instead of completely changing how they worked, I don't know, but that's why
Short answer, Sakurai didn't think controllables fit the game anymore.

Zoroark is kinda a mythical. In the black/white, you need to have a mythical to have an encounter. For zorua, you need celebi. Can't remember who for zoroark.

I'm pretty sure Final Smashes not being "playable" or controllable anymore came from trying to fit the idea of Final Smashes = Super/Ultimate moves in other fighting games
'Installs/install supers' are pretty common in fighting games so I think bowser becoming mega bowser could be seen as an install (like Juri's feng shui engine or dragon installs in guilty gear).

With the Big Blue stage they're completely glossing over the fact that if you were on top of one of those vehicles and you jumped you'd go flying off since all you're doing in standing on it. You're not going as fast as it is so you'd fly off immediately
C4 doesn't explode unless you use the right trigger, you can burn C4 and it would still not explode

You need to have a celebi for zorua. Have it in a party and go to some quiet kid, and bam. Zorua. Similar thing happens with zoroark, but I can't remember which legendary/mythical you need.

Not true Coney. There are plenty of games where she was in fact attacked and had to defend herself *including mainline titles so don’t start.* Peach even saved Mario before. Also before the retcon happened she was also a Light Warrior that saved the multiverse.
