Great vid my friend! I was there yesterday and caught a bunch on the red color... before that it was green... you are so right on having multiple colors ready to go.... hope I see u out there someday.... catchem up!!!
Sandy hook was not good to me this fall. Idk if the dredging had anything to do with it. PLEASE KEEP ME POSTED! Sandy Hook is SO much closer to me than ISBP, and if I can sneak away again I will

Bruh, every lure that you've suggested are monsters!!!! I killed it with thise Williamson gomames. Diamond jigs (I use the berkley sand eels) have killed it. Awesome job out there and I love the tips you gave. IBSP has been tough for me. I’m still going to be looking for a big one until the season is done! Great video your channel is awesome. 👍👍🎣
@@FromtheSurfNJ I knew you looked familiar! Nice to connect with you 👍👍It looks like you had a way better fall run then me this year. I feel like every time I’ve been out at IBSP the bite was off. Leads me to think I’m doing something wrong...
Love it. Steady retrieve, pop pop pause. Enjoying your videos. I almost feel like I'm there. You say this might be your last trip this year. We're in an el Nino year. We will be getting a few more good, nice days for fishing. Maybe I'll see you out there.

Eric, Another great video, I got more involve because of you! I’m soon at my last hurrah at the lbi and it’s fbeeping cold lol. The retrieves are excellent learning tip! I do have few suggestions for winter videos because your comments and video cameos are a howl!! Tight lines dude!!
It’s amazing how one day it’s one color, and the next day it’s a different one. I think that white tail Houdini-ing off the clip was my kiss of death for that day. I think white would have worked.
Hey bro, fun vid...just subscribed. Winter fishing videos would be welcomed. I, for one, intend to get out there in Jan...would be good to see you out there too. We've been having some pretty mild winter days so far,,,who knows?
Lesson to be learned is: How much, rough percentage, do the stripers rely on visual vs... other sensory stim and honing ability? The famous striper fisherman John Skinner says the thickness of the diamond jig worm, negligible tho it may be, can have as significant an impact on strikes as color. Just saying. Good video and Go Jersey Boys. Long Island SS was hot a couple weeks ago. Hope you guys are hittin'em.
Hi Eric, I use a Duo-Snap clip. ( like a Coast Lock ) I've lost too many rigs using a Tactical Anglers Clip. Sometimes the ring or loop on the lure get around the end of the TA clip just right to un-clip itself. Good luck, Mickey
FOR THE LIFE OF ME I could figure out how in the hell that thing came off of it.....you might have hit the nail on the head. I’ll have to look those clips up. Thanks for the suggestion!
Hi Eric, I like your videos and I think your dad is correct about your language. More people will tend to subscribe if it were a little cleaner. I usually fish in Ocean City, NJ, so I'm a bit south of you. ( I live in Winslow, NJ ) I usually wait for nice weather to Striper fish, so I'll only have a few days left this year. Stay safe and good luck, Mickey
I was there that same day, caught 3. Yellow SP for the first. Green and yellow needle on the second and a white bucktail with a Sandeel trailer. None on the teaser. Did you happen to see my pliers and line cutters I lost? Lol
Was at IBSP yesterday with my dad. He had 2- 24” on the green A27 and 1-24 1/2” on a pink teaser. I caught 1 on the green A27 and 1 on the pink teaser. Was a fun day even with the cold weather and dirty water! Also snagged a sand eel 😆.
A lot of people using the pink teasers....and have success! Another one of those bright colors. You know the water is dirty when the sand eels don’t even see ya coming 😂

I really do enjoy your videos, earned my sub! But I'd like to say that I fish in brookyln Ny and tbh, this fall run has been horrible for me. You got any suggestions?
I’m probably not the BEST guy to ask....only because my fall run sucked up until the big one, then it kicked off. I’ll tell ya man, in jersey it’s supposed to kick off at Sandy Hook and it wasn’t great there either. It seemed like the storms pushed a lot of the fish into deeper water around NYC and north NJ, then they turned in and started hugging the shore line after the Manasquan Inlet. Dudes on boats in north NJ were killing it.....but only saw a few shorts pulled up north (and trust me I was putting my time in).
