keep up the short little vids. much better than text blog only. Awesome little tip. I was playing with that the other day coincidentally and figured this out. Cool little feature.
Thanks for all of the great information and useful tips you keep bringing Joe. Big fan of Studio One for several years now. Keeps getting better. Appreciate it!
Thanks Joe. Does that pre and post fader work the same for the mixer chanels for instance not changing your gain stage when you have your processing plugins on the Channel? I see when I toggle between pre and post it doesn't change my meters as much as when I have it set to pre fader but what confuses me is am I monitoring the true peaks. Somtimes the manual doesn't cover all the questions I have in studio one v 5
Joe I have been in production block for about a year, I've been trying to get my mind into a mode to open my daw, is there any advice for someone with my problem 😔😔😔
I dragged reverb to the “send,” it created an effects return just as you demonstrated. I saved everything before I shut my computer down for the night, then the next day the “send” on that track was missing. I tried stretching the fader window up from the top and pulling the fader window down from the middle hoping it would expose “send” but it never showed up. This has happened often with my sessions. Any tips?
Try double-clicking on the line right at the bottom of the inserts window. There’s some sort of crazy layout bug which sometimes drags the divider between inserts and sends so low you can barely see it. Double-clicking puts it back!
Question?, when you load the studioone 32 sessions to linlk up your actual mixer. There is a button at the top of all the fader channels, its says “apply dsp”. Could you make a video with this feature and how it was intended for. Thanks 😊
This is exactly what the studio one community needs. Y’all are doing great work keep it up!
Really liking these Studio One Minute shorts. Keep'm coming.

What is the purpose of this? I’m new to music production.
