I'm no Lars defender (he has a lot of bad live performance habits), but I think people sometimes falsely equate they way he plays parts differently live, as "messing up". He's been playing Sad But True basically exactly like this for years now. You may not like his playing, but I would say at no point in this particular performance did he play anything the way he didn't intend to play it. In fact, his tempo here is a lot more steady than it often is.
I was there. Due to heavy traffic, missed MWVH, most of pantera stage. That day guitar sound so bad, my seat was the cheapest one, other seats sound better?
@@amazeleg3ndso I was actually a couple rows back. But I’m 6’1, so it was a little easier to see. If you get to the rail, you’ll be fine! If not, it might be a little tough.

I was in section 236 and for the most part the guitars sounded good. I couldn't hear some of the solos though.

Got there before Pantera. Didn’t have early entry. Just get close once the last opener finishes and move up as you’re able.
