The one thing I really like in Nuclear Option is how sometimes a wing or other part might get damaged but just not enough to rip it off, then if you pull a hard enough turn to overload the wing it will rip it off like in the newer IL2 game , gives a really good feel to it

It's pretty awesome when a game with nukes to use in combat for leveling things has stuff detailed at the small levels too, like the plane damages and ways they can get torn apart by stress. Still very impressed with that game.
1:28 - that can be destroyed but it requires a lot more damage.
1:50 - in some instances the building will just crumble from stress after enough time has passed
Huh, didn't know about the first one. Don't recall seeing it damaged when I played, but definitely good to know.
And yeah, I have seen buildings crumble in that state, the point there was the small tree holding up that entire thing.
Battlebit Remastered is pretty small scale, but still pretty good destruction.
Issue there is that you still have quite many indestructibles

Side note for some reason almost all of your videos have that annoying verification thing. If you can’t fix it maybe you could at least upload them on some other platform besides RUclips so I might be able to watch them 😅

Idk why people praise the destruction in this game. The way the walls bounce off each other make it look weightless as if the buildings are made of styrofoam. They can fix it but to me right now it doesn't look good.
One day a developer will make a game with amazing gore and destruction.
@2:26 why? war is destruction!? You cant have realistic experiance without making Ukraine out of the map when large forces with powerful weapons are fighting. Totally leveled map can still offer great gameplay if physics of rubble and destroyed/disabled equipment and player's interaction with such environment are done right.
Depends on the state of the map at the start of the match. Sure you could have something already half wrecked that would get entirely leveled. But if you start with an abandoned but largely intact city (like Al Basrah in Squad for example) and you don't have every other character running around with explosives, you'd likely have much remain standing. That was the point.
the majority of large scale destruction in wars is from artillery and bombs, not from ground troops in firefights. they're not out there leveling buildings with tanks and RPGs.
@@RSpracticalshooting yes they are if you were following ricent wars you will see alot destruction caused by tanks, ifvs, handheld at weapons and atgms, small drones and light mortars
@@novinovic298 none of those have enough firepower to level an entire building. yes they cause destruction but when you see cities that have been laid to waste with buildings completely destroyed, its because of drone strikes and rocket artillery.
@@RSpracticalshooting if i want to spend 30 tank shells to bring down a medium size building game should allow that
and the ruble that is left should provide new battleground just like Marinka
